    Invasion: Capacity

    [PRELUDE TO Battle]
    A long-forgotten communications array is in the Covenant's sights; they want it gone so the invasion of Reach can continue running smoothly. ONI and the UNSC need this communications array to remain operational. A defense force is dispatched and tasked with defending the facility.

    [THE BATTLE]
    A small detachment of the defense force patrolled the perimeter of the facility grounds while a small attack force of Elites slipped onto the grounds unnoticed and set up a rudimentary Command Post.
    The Elites begin the attack by taking the garage which sits on the island side of the bridge. Caught flat-footed, the defense force rallies and defends the garage as best they could.

    Shortly after taking the garage, the controls for the bridge door are found and activated. With the bridge opened to the rest of the attacking force, the defenders fight to maintain the facility's shield doors and protect their own barracks.

    The Elites, now in control of the garage and the vehicles it houses, fight to open the shield doors whose controls are situated just outside the barracks on the opposite side of the guardhouse.

    With the shield doors down and the facility exposed, the defenders retreat to within the facility
    and desperately defend the main uplink to the communications array. The Elites attempt to bomb the facility by destroying the main uplink thus making it useless to ONI and the UNSC.

    After fierce fighting on the bridges and the platform to the main uplink, the Elites armed the bomb and successfully destroyed it making the entire facility uesless.

    [AFTERMATH]
    After the destruction of it's communications array, ONI and the UNSC retrieve the battered defenders of the facility and send them to fight the Convenant onslaught elsewhere as the invasion of Reach was now in full swing.
    The Covenant, now in control of a useless communications array, brought in Engineers to rebuild and maintain the facility. A small garrison of Elites defended the facility as it was rebuilt.


    That was a little thing I put together because I wanted this map and it's gametype to have a backstory, similiar to Invasion: Spire, Invasion: Boneyard, and Invasion: Breakpoint.

    Basically, if you read through it, you'd see that this map features a communications array, a bridge, a garage, two houses, and a sizable facility.

    Important notes:
    1) There are no weapons on the map except for two machine gun turrets, this is because I ran out of money and couldn't place any. I do plan to eventually fix this.
    2) The corresponding gametype is neccesary for this map to work correctly. It too is on my fileshare.
    3) In this gametype, the loadouts are the same for both the Spartans and the Elites, this is done to balance the teams. Future testing will be done to bring Convenant weapons and loadouts into the mix.
    4) Both teams can use their armor abilities infinitely as long as they are not capturing a territory, carrying the bomb, or drop the bomb.
    5) Jetpacks are not allowed for either team but might be brought in for the Spartans to use if testing proves that it doesn't change the balance of gameplay.
