so im in the testing phase of a new map I'm creating and basically one side has vehicles while the other side is left with anti-vehicle weapons. (its on sandtrap) and I changed the setting for the defending team to be unable to use vehicles yet they are still able to do so. i also changed it to passenger only (seeing how it would have the same effect) but again the defending team is still able to use them. any help?
yup i save it every time. the other weird part that im noticing is that as the defender and driving (even though the settings should be stopping me from doing so) is that as soon as i enter the territory im kicked off
Maybe you could make the game type zombies, then set zombies with anti vech, and humans with vech. Set everyone with 1 life so zombies don't respawn and then set 50% zombies to start with. Zombies could be blue and humans red. That could work if that is where your trying to go with the idea. *EDIT* Oh it's territories? I think your setting it so the people in a territory can't enter vehicles and not the whole team.
Yeah, thats what it is. Back out into the first menu you get when you hit X, and go to general settings... I think anyways....
so in general settings if i change the base player settings to vehicle use to none and under the territory setting i change the attacking team to full use no one can use the vehicles (which defeats the purpose. if the setting is meant for ONLY inside the territory that is the worst implementation of settings. But i think thats what it is
yup thats it. there is no way to disable the use of vehicles for either an attacking team or a defending team (unless instead of 1 territory i make 2. 1 being the normal one and the 2nd being a huge area surrounding as much as i can of the spawn area of the defending team. i think thats what im going to do) i was thinking of doing custom power-ups (and having it disable the use of vehicles) but you can only place 4 of them and the game is designed for 6v6. thanks for the help though. weird that you cant have a trait like disabling vehicle use for a whole team when its attacking/defending game
