Ok, I have a question, I want to download some stuff off of the XBL Marketplace but it always says "Content With This Rating Is Not Permitted On The Console" I turned all parental blocks off because my parents don't care, and it still won't work! What do I do?

When you originally signed up for xbox live you made your date of birth something under the age of 18. You won't be able to download any content you speak of until you are registered as 18 on your xbox. For free content that is labeled as mature where you can't download it on your account, simply use a one month or a 48 trial card to make a new account. With that new account you can then download what you wish but otherwise for content that requires a purchase you're out of luck.

Isn't it 17 for ESRB? And then 16 for pegi or whatever that other unpopular rater is. I mean, it would be illogical to sell a game for 17+ people then have them wait till 18 to get DLC.

i've had the same issue, but it turns out the console restricts your age, not your parents.

This is weird actually. I turned off all the blocks and I could do it then. I'm 16 now, but I guess it's because the game's only a 15 in the UK.

go to the email adress you signed up with and change the age up to 18. Then, go to Xbox.com | Xbox.com Home, sign in using the email address, go to "My profile" and click upgrade account. Follow the steps and you'll be done in an hour

I knew I had the right ideal of making my account's birthday in 1942.

I have the same problems with my 2nd account.
