Well think of it this way if they had of given credit to you then the gut who actually took the pic will feel bad I know its unfair but thats life get used to it.
But, he shouldnt have felt bad, he didnt spend hours making the map. I clouldnt log on b4 ppl started herrasing me?
How is Bungie going to give you credit if he was the one that actually took the pic it has his name under it evan if they wanted to they could not give you credit for it.
Ok I am going to vent for a second so bear with me... Why in gods name do people get so freakin pissy about people taking their maps. Big freaking deal you know you made it most people know you made it. I mean really if someone actually stole your map and it has more downloads or something I would understand... but guess what it doesnt so stop it! We know you made and other people know you made it, you will always have *insert curse word here* faces telling you that they made it. You are going to have to live with that face.[/vent] If I were you I would just stop worrying about it -Donuts
Well Alex, at least I feel your pain. The screen shot is technically of a guy with a sword, and the bungienator just happens to be in the background. I'm not a lawyer or anything, but my sense of fairness tells me that the pic was selected for the background and not the smurf with the sword. Obviously, like you said, the moster was a hours-long effort while the screen shot probably took 30 seconds. I read the post when it first came up and the guy said he didn't make the map, and I believe he now has a link to you for credit, so it seem he wasn't trying to get over. But for some reason that I completely fail to understand (especially after seeing some of their selections), Bungie Favorites seems to be some sort of holy grail people are going bat crap crazy to get. Maby they think they'll get Recon if they make it but they never do. So I guess it probably sucks to see Bungie acknowledging someone else for your work, but in the grand scheme of things, this is truely one of the most trivial matters you will ever come across. To change the subject, I really like your monster, good job.
