Hello Hubbers, today i want to share with you a big team battle map: BTB Regulation - Preview! BTB Regulation is a big team battle map forged on Montana. At the moment it supports big team slayer, CTF, Stockpile, HeadHunter, Oddball and One flag CTF. The map is the product of a five man co-forge featuring: 1]Matty the IV 2]Katanga 3]Eightball 4]Ajc 27 5]Xx MaNIcKsZ xX Story Time! Once upon a time in the mythical lands of montana, the UNSC began construction of PROJECT: Regulation. The amount of attention drawn to this project was phenomenal. However the wrong sort of attention was attracted and covenant forces soon glassed it along with the rest of Reach. Fortunately, PROJECT: Regulation survived but the areas around and above it were toxic and covered in radiation. The inhabitants were trapped there until one side decided to use the others supplies to boost their population and thrive their community. The other inhabitants were not pleased. Angry with being betrayed by their own kind, the blues decided they would attack the reds ferociously, completely forgetting about the covenant glassing the planet. Once the war broke out, who knows what will happen? YOU are one of these soldiers. Download and play regulation and you can choose your side in this conflict! Glad that's over with... Anyways, BTB regulation is a great map for 8v8 gameplay but can also suit parties of 8 [4v4 games] Weapon List: DMR X6 Rocket Launcher X1 Sniper rifle X2 Plasma Launcher X1 Concussion Rifle X1 Grenade launcher X1 Shotgun X2 Needle rifle X2 Assault rifle X2 Needler X1 Plasma pistol X1 Frag grenade X2 MUD! X1 Vehicle List1 Mongoose X2 Screenshots!!!! The city streets with a view on the Red team's teleporter exit. A view of the man-cannon and the blue side sniper rifle. The hilltops with a concussion rifle resting on the balcony. Blue base and a view of the blue team teleporter entrance plus a rocket launcher underneath the bridge. Red base plus a bit of scenery outside. Plasma launcher spawns on this bench near the blue teleporter exit. Red sniper rifle and a scenic view of the battlefield, Lovely! MUD!!!!!!! with a grenade launcher resting on it. Unfortunately, there are quite low kill boundaries to prevent cheating the map so jet-packs are NOT recommended for gameplay. Hey I played on this last night, it's all kinds of good! But I think you need to ofeer a little more cover for ppl coming up the right hand side from blue base, down on the ground you are very open to sniper fire. But I loved it!

Every time I see that mud I can't stop laughing, it just looks so random and funny. But in all seriousness, I enjoyed playing BTBs' on this and helping alittle to forge it. The gameplay was smooth and the aesthetics were good. I'd say that maybe blue side needed more cover points, seeing as I would pick everyone off (Including you ) With the sniper. Other than that, I enjoyed this map.
Hello! This is a cool map and I enjoyed testing this out. It is unique and I have not played a map like it. I like the differences in height and use of both land and structure. Testing was a blast and no weapons seemed overpowering. I really like eightballs ladder, sweet way of using 2 way shields clearly. I can see the variations of the different forgers that have made this map. Making this an interesting map with interesting gameplay! I like [edited] although I don't like your link is broken so can't click like button lol ...Get it fixed...If you change map and upload to fileshare the code changes and you need to update new code also
THis looks like a nice map...it has alternating pieces which helps give it more aesthetics and the map is very pleasing to look at with the combination and the natural and the metallic objects...the map has a very nice layout that works with the landscape that it is set on that amplifies that qquality of the map...impressive...by the way I love the little ladder you have on the map it looks very proffesional...the map has a very open feeling but with enough cover to create a fun carefree map that could also play as a matchmaking map with the proffesional setup...there are multiple pathways that seem to also add variety to the map...brilliant map...just one question though...what are the weapons on the map?
This looks beautiful, I always say that a map has to balance aesthetics with gameplay to be truly... awesome? Best word I can think of right now. I love the pillars and the purple tunnel, they feel very unique. The whole map feels like it flows well, I will download and see all there is to see.
I myself forge a lot of btb maps and i have to say i really like how you where able to make some points of the map look like close quarters battling while still being open to sniper fire across the map.

This map looks quite impressive. I'll have to run around on it a bit before I can give you any substantial feedback, but it's nice to see an infantry based BTB map. Just curious, how much of the budget have you used?
Map looks great although it might just be me but are there any frame rate issues? looks like there is. respond and tell me plz.
With all of the tweaks and changes we have made to this map, there shouldn't be any framrate lag. If there is, it's probably so little that it doesn't effect gameplay. When I was testing this map with everyone I had no trouble sniping/ scoping. Please notify us otherwise if you get a chance to play on the map. Thanks.
Why does it say "preview" in the OP. The above quote also makes me wonder if this is supposed to be here or in Forge Discussion. Is this a completed map?
This looks very well made but instead of having the whol thing inclosed by walls try opening it up. This makes the map feel more real and looks better than a bunch of coliseum walls. Other than that very original map placement and great layout.

I'll answer that. Matty put a preview up the day before he released the map, just to see if we could capture some attention beforehand. We didn't, so he put it up for download. It's probably just left over from the copy/paste. Edit: Damn. He beat me to it. >.< As far as framerate lag goes, I didn't experience any during the testing stages. We built the structures with framerate in mind so most of them, with the exception of my OTT rock platform, are built out of fewer objects.
