So I'm pretty close to finishing my first map, there is one problem though. I spawned a bruteshot very early in the building process just to test some angles/sights out. I left it there for a while whilst working on other parts and when I came to delete it, I couldn't select it. I've tried everything, starting new rounds and trying to select it, messing around on the summary menu of bruteshots and loads of other things but it's still un-selectable and therefore I can't remove it. Anyone know of any instances of this happening before and any fixes? Thanks in advance for any tips.
I think your problem is the drop spawn. Try putting something underneath the spawn point so it doesn't drop. If a weapon is on drop spawn, you can't delete it because it has been moved from it's original location. BS = Brute Shot ...BS... < spawns in the air ______ < lands here ----- Try this: ...BS... BLOCK Put a block under it so it spawns on the block and that should fix your problem.
Where is the brute shot spawning, and where are you trying to delete it? If an object falls too much after it spawns, it cannot be touched in Monitor mode. A way to fix this is to put an immovable object right under the brute shot and save in there. When you restart the game, you should be able to delete the brute shot. RAWR. Was it an OLN Brute Shot? If it was and you set it to not respawn at start, you're kinda ****ed. You could balance it by putting a Brute Shot in the same place on the other side of the map (assuming it's symmetrical)
I think its this drop spawn situation as it does fall from its spawn position quite a way as I removed some stucture under it. Thanks for the info, much appreciated!
Dont let it drop spawn, then try deleting it. If that doesn't work. Your going to have to let that weapon be a power weapon of the map. Try a new weapon list with the brute shot. Or you can just put a block or something in its place so the brute shot is on the map just not accessible.
