Break the floor v2 (BTF v2) break the floor v2 or for short its called btf v2 is finally out. i really didn't change the map that much but i did just a little bit, i deleted the broken column on the floor in the corners and put a block tiny so the corner antennas are not that hard to hit and made it more loose, and i made the bottom part look nice as well. i definitely changed the game play a lot. the first version there was only one zombie doing all the work and made the game play slow, now i made 2 zombies with the chopper helping each other with the radio antennas so it doesn't take forever and it made the game play faster. then in the first version when you die, you stay dead cause you only have one life. now when you die you will turn into zombies and helping the alpha zombies kill the guys that fall through the floor, and i made the alpha zombie run slow so the people that die can kill for you because they run faster and jump higher and the regular zombies have full use in vehicles so they now can ride the choppers. so for the other team i put way-points on the alpha zombie only so they know where the alpha zombie is because they are invincible and when you run out of ammo for your pistol your screwed, but last man traits you have unlimited ammo and a little harder to kill and he instantly kills the regular zombies in one hit but the guys that are not the last man takes 2 hits to kill the zombie, i tested it out with a lot of people and they loved it and especially the game play because first version slow, new version faster and more intense. i put a time limit as well, 5:00 is perfect so i hope you enjoy and one more thing the scoring works when you kill the zombies or survive the round link - Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Share
I have couple questions you might consider answering in the post: -How does scoring work? If it is just the usual, that might make the game hardly competitive. It would be good for a KoTH game. -Another problem: how are the zombies killed when they fall? Do the choppers have to splatter them? This is an interesting idea. I had many plans for using radio antennae until i found out they were movable objects and could not be merged.
Wow that is really nicely forged. Those blocks fit so snug and the merging looks very smooth. I don't see how the scoring works though. From what I gather the zombehz knock the humans down and then those humans get cleaned a up by other, vehicle-less zombies?
Im very impressed, most of these sort of maps use pallets instead of small blocks and radia attena's. But i dont think the spawning works though so you just let all the blocks fall ne the game is over?
Great job brother. Very original idea that I would never had thought of this concept, and what really impresses me the most is how you actually made it. If I was you I would have gone the easy way out by just making it out of palletes, but you took the more original method. I'll actually try this out with me buds 2nite
put teleporters under the blocks so the fall into them and put the receiver node into anything, say a pit of zombies or a killball or near the gardians
Hey this is a great looking game. I cant wait to download it and have a play! But, that wall of text is REALLY hard to read. Could we have commas, periods, capitals, and possibly scale it back down to a size of 2? Because i was almost discouraged from downloading the map by the description, because it was so hard to understand. Edit: Readability nonwithstanding, the gameplay is really good. I especially enjoyed being one of the people up top even though i usually want to be the zombie! You did a good job of creating an evenly balanced and fair game for us to play on, and you kept it simple enough that we all can understand it. The goal, or objective is also rather simple and easy to get. Not to meantion the quality of the forging, which blew my mind. All of the objects appear to be perfectly located. You took a map that most forgers would have rushed to finish and show off, and spent the time required to make it fun and enjoyable as well as aesthetically pleasing. 8/10 rating. I had to subtract a point because of your failure of a description.
