Yeah, I played with a guy that had that happen a couple times. Maybe they did it intentionally to make it that much harder.
Probably. After the community figuring out how to kill each new raid boss really easily, they decided to make one actually invincible.

I know that feel bro. While I'm not as low a level as you (level 42), I still haven't even defeated Terramorphus yet. So apparently, according to the Borderlands Wiki, the next dlc will be called "Mr. Torgues Campaign of Carnage". Hopefully it's longer than the Captain Scarlett dlc.
Same here; though that happened when I killed Terramorphous a few times, maybe my machine can't handle loot drops? I was pissed though, it counted as the mission being done when we killed him, even though there wasn't any loot.
A very nice thing about the Scarlet DLC is the Spoiler fact that you can repeat the last mission endlessly. 'twas fun and profitable (even though I'm running three conference calls in my main equipped).
Do you need to have four people to get a decent Legendary drop from Terramorphous? I've been farming him solo and only getting SoT Class Mods...
SoT classmod is really the standard, other than the relic, and nade mod that he drops. I've had him drop a CC too. But if you want a better class mod, go farm vermi.
Ive done every quest more than three times, beat the game like eight times, have four of five characters at max level, and have farmed more time than I would care to admit. Why are we speeding through? Cus we need to enjoy it before every game ever comes out next month.

I hate how Master Gee drops **** all. We killed him after a long fought battle, only to get 6 Eridium, and some shitty blue combat rifles (one was one of the single shot rifles, the other fired grenades). What a complete ****ing waste of time.
I got a pretty awesome Dhal e-tech burst-fire sniper. I guess the drops are only good for those pink shields, as the pink weapons seem to be sub par.

Nope, you can fight him on the first playthrough as well. You've just got to accept the quest and head to his lair.
