Ok, so the idea is a bolt like you might find on a gate or a bathroom door.
You slide it along, and the switch activates.
This switch works by having a pallet halfway through a wall and a fusion coil on a ledge beside it.
When you slide the pallet, the fusion coil is pushed off, causing an explosion to destroy the turret which spawns another using min/max properties.

    Front view:

    Top View (inside mechanism):

Side view (where the turret is):

    The pallet:

    Pushing the pallet:

Fusion coil pushed by the pallet falls:

BOOM, This destroys the first turret, force spawning the second:

They have done very similar things, things you push and things you jump on.
    But this one slides. ;)

As well to note this one looks more of a working idea... (the other swordscar one was iffy at time of working)

i just downloaded, and i have to say wow! The switch takes like a second to push, from the friction or what, but after that, the turret spawned flawlessly

oh yeah and BTW i broke the pallets like a bajillion times, and my xbox froze haha

wow. that's pretty cool. H3Artificer is a great site for forge stuff like this. nice idea. could be used in an infection or other asymmetrical game for sure. 4/5 for the switch! keep it up

It gives you a turret. but the emphasis is really on the trigger...

amazing, and truly innovative switch. Well done! i also like that you were the one to point out the flaws, humility is always a desirable trait. 5/5!

Pretty neat. I haven't thought of doing something like this, it would be pretty sweet if you made a map using this and other mechanisms. That would be awesome. But this is awesome too. 5/5

This switch is the most ingenious one I've ever seen. Ever since the discovery of switches on halo 3, they have been getting better and better. 5/5!

hmm do you have to break the pallet or can you just push it?
i really like the idea of this switch though
i dont really understand how you could use this to lock a door
i could see how it could be used to make an object immovable or maybe block a reciever node
    anywho great job
    4.5/5

wow, really kool. i almost want to try this with like a wire spool or something. it couldn't be broken, and it'd roll pretty easy. you'd just need a bigger gap

Thanks for all the great responses guys.

The idea is the pallet is meant to slide.
