BloodShed Created by Skirym An exiting map thats alot of fun =D Base: ___-.Foundry Supported Gametypes: Capture the Flag Slayer Territories [size=8pt]Description:[/size] BloodShed is a fast paced map wich is very exiting and fun to play. Both teams start of of at their base (each teams base is the same). From there you can go down into the maze (wich is very fun to do when alot of people are playing), or you can take the upper hallway or the lower hallway or go to the centre of the map. The upper hallway leads straight to the other teams base, but has a stairway leading to the centre of the map. This is also were the Sniper is. The lower hallway is on the ground floor and gives you access to the Mongoose ( this hallway also leads to the other teams base). I tried to make his map so that werever you are you can get to were you want to get to quickly and easily. This map contains no Rocket Launcher, Spartan Laser or Flamethrower. . I wanted to make this map fair but fun at the same time, so I included weapons like the Shotgun and Sniper Rifle, but didnt include the weapons that over-power one player. I really hope you enjoy BloodShed, even though its escapable. But you would need to be a real idiot to accidentally get out of this map, I mean its got some defenses,but %30 of the map you can escape from (V2(if I ever make one) will not be escapable). PS. Wow, it actually looks nice, the interlocking looks good. Very well done with your first map it has been posted correctly. Just take off some of the extra "" Well done
The map definatley looks good to play on but I can definately see people escaping from it. One grenade jump over the fence in picture 6 and you're out! Anyway lets not ponder on that. For the floor to look more effective you don't have to put walls over them. You can just flip them over as that side is cleaner and this also leaves you with more objects to spare. The maze hallway looks good so I would like to know what's in there. By the way is there a gravi lift in your map because I don't see any other way of reaching the energy sword. Overall, it's a nicely structured map but if you had a little more explanation of the weapons I'm sure that this will get more downloads. Hope you make a V2! EDIT: Hows that for a suggestion! XD
Thanks Hazza. Yep, theres a Grav Lift to get to the sword (and ontop of the boxs) =D. And im not bothered about people escaping the map. Like I said in the description, you'd have to be a real idiot (and drunk) to get accidentely out of the map. And thank you for the wall/floor technique. I was wondering why my floor was different =(
it looks like a nice map it looks well made and this is a really nice post looks really good for slayer also i think that you could just do a grenade jump of the map thought
wow thats a big map anyway good job and good interlocking but keep those walls straight up it doesnt look good when a walls crooked unless its on purpose
Good Forging! Nice job but the use of the flare in a hallway is not such a good idea for it will blind you anyway so whats the point?
it looks pretty good especially the idea but some things cud do a little straigtening like i noticed on hte bridged step the box wasnt symetical to the other one, there was a bump and the walls on the double boxes dont look so cud but ill still download and try it out i wud like to say 3/5 for sloppiness, but the idea is deffinately a 4/5
seems like a nice map, but it is a little sloppy. i think you should straighten everything up and make a V2. other then that, i think you did quite a good job.
