Blood Garden is a map made for slayer and CTF game types. It works best with 4v4 or 6v6. For the most part it has been tested enough but i am unsure about some things, like grav hammer or rockets. Update: Blood Garden is a symmetrical map designed mainly around Slayer and CTF game types. Its is a classic map with 2 bases, a center piece, and 2 side pieces. I have been attempting to bring my map up to MLG standards in the sense of game play and weapon placement(Obviously there are non MLG regulation weapons still on the map...i know) I have provided a weapon list and several overview screenshots below. i remember seeing this. the v4 looks a lot better and all the interlocking is very smooth. it is an even better map. great job on the v4. each base hase more cover. you could add a walkway on the back of foundry to create more of a path. anyway this is much better than the other you might want to change the sixth pic, its the same as the old blood garden.
uh oh double posting this map? thats a no no. anyhow this map looks prrretttttyyyy nice. im just wondering why you named it blood garden? cuz to me it doesnt look like a garden but maybe you just did it for a cool name
What a map you have made. I will say that it will play very competitively, with the decent cover, the high ground, and how the weapons and items are placed around the entire zone in which you built your own creation. Now a review is a review so I'm here to tell you the "Ups" and of course, the "Downs". So at first glance anyone can tell that the map has aspects that allow for serious action, the bridges have no cover which allows an almost equal fight between those on the ground and the bridge, there is a center-piece that will be the focus of the action and has the power weapon which appears to be the gravity hammer. There is also access to a second floor which seems fairly guarded, and complete access to the ground floor which is open towards the end, which I find fair. Now for the negatives, I hope you do take these into consideration. While the map is good for fights, the scenery and lack of actual visual pleasure diminishes what you have worked for, the dumpsters need to be replaced with geographicaly merged boxes dumpsters look ugly and just don't fit in. Next will be the measurement, in picture number three there is a crack in the bridge that let's you see underneath. This small error greatly reduces aesthetics and looks unprofessional, this needs to be fixed as well. The window panels should also be replaced with single boxes, this will improve combat slightly and greatly improve visual pleasure. And the centerpiece should be well interlocked, the single boxes appear to be floating and it should take a quick moment to fix that up. What do I rate this map, I would give it a 2/5. The map is great competitive wise and earns a point, and placement could not be better which adds another point. But the map looks ugly with the dumpsters which subtracts one point, the centerpiece could have been easily fixed which further subtracts another point, and sadly the scenery is not properly aligned and you can see through small cracks which removed the third point. The map in general deserves a 3/5 because aesthetics can be easily replaced with core game play which is why I added a bonus point. besides the central building and the one off to the side, it seems kind of open, is kind of sloppy in some places but overall the forging and layout of the buildings looks good. i would take the grav hammer off and maybe one of the snipers and needlers off. map layout: 3.75/5 map itself and looks: 4/5 overall: 3.95/5 good forging
For the v5 of this map im going to replace a lot of the dumpsters with merged singleboxes and fix gameplay flaws like the one pointed out by Radiant Rain
Looks like a decent map, but I'm not quite sure if this is correct when I say there isn't enough ground cover, correct me if I'm wrong.
