He meant the top-down perspective. Maybe you should read what a birds-eye view is first?

No, hes talking about the overview
like the entire map with the weapon layout,
Its obtained by getting out of the map for outdoor maps, or just searching google for the layout of foundry

I think he took lots of pictures from the ceiling of Foundry and pieced them together.

    lol

It would probably only work for a map with a single level. It would probably look weird and distorted with more levels.

It's called Photoshop. He used that for sure, and then he took pictures abovce the map.

That seems like a lot of effort. Granted, there are programs that can stitch photos together like that relatively easily, but at the same time, wouldn't it have been easier for him to escape the elastic boundary in camera-mode and take the screenshot from up above...or would that have included the rafters inherent to Foundry's Geometry?

    Gimpshop
Its Gimp, but with a PhotoShop layout, so its easier to follow PhotoShop Tutorials.
    Or just get gimp.

EDIT: Sorry for being a bit off-topic with this post, I was trying to be helpful. Besides, this thread seems to have been adequately addressed.
