Demitri Line is a map that focuses on vehicle combat and territorial control. I was inspired from the game play and both infantry- and vehicle-focused fights that gave Battlefield it's feel, and wanted to try my best to recreate that in Reach. Demitri Line is not a remake of any Battlefield map in particular, but provides the Battlefield feel to it's extent. After some testing and tweaks were made to the map and gametype(But not enough to ever consider it a release, as it's unfinished), I give it first as a preview to Forge Hub. Why am I posting this as a Map Preview, before sending it the the Tester's Guild? For first impressions and to provide a bit of backstory for when the official version is finally released. OK, so the real reason is because I accidently posted it here before I realized we still had a Tester's Guild. Please don't kill me for it. Here's a trailer, which you can get the vibe of vehicle warfare from. Feel free to ask questions, or pop in to realize there are no screenshots and leave. Halo Reach: [BF3] Demitri Line Trailer - YouTube EDIT 1: I reread my first post, and realized, I gave no information about the map, other than what inspired me and how the battles play. The map takes place in half the canyon, the cave, a "small" highway in the water that leads from the middle of Montana and Alaska to the sand/water bridge between the island and the cave, and part of the island istelf. All the map can be seen from the above trailer. Alaska and Montana are both blocked by soft-kill barriers. Other than said play space, the rest of Forgeworld is also blocked by soft kill barriers. The map has 4 territories, but to capture them, you must leave the vehicles. I personally find this tedious, but Reach's mechanics are unchangeable to us. Each side has a 'base', which houses their vehicles. There are no weapons on the map, as players choose from 4 loadouts which follow the Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon classes in the third installment of Battlefield. More information about the classes, vehicles, and overall structure will be given in the official thread.
look like a good map, BUT in the trailer i think personaly that you should have used the battlefield music and also there to much of tanks shooting at banshee's and tanks blowing up etc you need more action shots with more people playing and just pure destruction on mant differant levels maybe a shot like loads of soldiers running next to a tank firing at a stable enemy hog and banshees etc if you know what i mean but it does look very nice and clean, i like the beggining of the trailer with the view through the grass with the tank going past and the hog going over the rocks but yeah nice map
