    Beaver Crick:
    A remake of Beaver Creek

    Aspects:
    Accurate weapon placement
    Two Bases
    Creek & bridge
    Two-Way Teleporters
Set up to play as slayer, assault, and CTF

    Description:

Hello to all fellow forgers. I have just finished my first remake map. It is a replica done from memory but I'm sure you will find it extremely accurate. Being my first remake and my first real map (interlocking and such) I'm extremely proud of it. You may notice that I neglected to add the basements or that the bases aren't exactly symmetrical, but even with the use of the infinite budget some things just can't be done.

I spent about a week working on this(about an hour a day) with my brother. Please leave me comments and criticism as I'm a fairly new forger and would love to know what everyone thinks so I can improve my skills and make even better maps in the future.

This Map post does not meet the standards. Please read this topic
on how to properly post maps. I am sure your map is good so please follow the guidelines so we can find out too!

You're kidding, right? I took the code from that thread and changed it to suit my thread. Just because it's not the same exact code doesn't mean it's not proper. It followed all of the guidelines there.

We expect for the map creator to post EMBEDDED screenshots. That is the only thing you need to change.

As for the map it self. It doesn't to well made, the bases look sloppy. Also there is a major lack of cover.

Nope, He's not kidding. Your post is fine except for the screenshots...you see, the screenshots have to be embedded. Also, they have to be uploaded to an image hosting site, like imageshack. here, do this:
    Code:
    [noparse][IMG]http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/3652/screenshotuw8.jpg[/IMG]

    [img]http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/5677/screenshotyc2.jpg[/img]

    [img]http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/2117/screenshotiu8.jpg[/img][/noparse]
Just copy that and paste it and your post is fixed.

And about the map, needs some work. You definitely need to interlock stuff, and the walls should be straightened out...

Oh I see. My bad I apologise BiznisHippie.

@TXGhost: yeah I realize that the bases are extremely sloppy. I was running out of walls and such after I finished the first base. I appreciate the critique.

@xXmooregamesXx: Thank you very much. I appreciate you going out of your way and hosting the images for me. As for the interlocking I feel kind of foolish now that I didn't interlock everything but for some reason I couldn't figure out why certain walls weren't disappearing. I now know it was because my runtime minimum was equal to my objects on map. You learn more from your failures than your successes :p
