Battleship Vs Carrier

    Hey all!

    Seeing as this is my first map ever accually submitted, I thought it whoud be good to present you with my first ever succesful map: Battleship Vs Carrier.

    How do you control the sea? By Owning the Sky.

    In this very competitive mini-game, the Carrier team (offense) is trying to get their bomb

    into the Battleship's (defener's) engine room (accesed via teleporter found mid-ship) to blow it up.

    Method of transport? A top-notch array of the best flying vehicles the UNSC (and covenant) has to offer, the powerful Falcon Helicopters,

    Or the sleek, purple Banshee.

    Of course, you will not be going on this... erm... Suicidal mission empty-handed. Your commanders have spent a good chuck of their budget on a top-of-the-line arsenal of weapons, accessed via teleporter, which will be imperitive in your mission.

    You may have noticed the two gauss hogs on board the carrier. Those are for either suppressing fire or a very potent base defense. They can be driven freely about the ship, and a skilled marksman can me very usefull at keeping the defenders on their toes.

    You will aslo have complete free-roam on this map, so sniping (and lasering) from the island is not only possible, but HIGHLY recommended.

    Now, as the defenders, you must be quivering in your boots. Well, quiver no more, as for your defending needs you have full access to 4 scorpion turrets,

    2 rockethogs, at the front AND rear, along with a single falcon, if you feel the need to take the fight to them.

    Rounds on this game last 8 minutes, and trust me, you'll need them, soldier.
    And yes, you can get in vehicles while carrying the bomb.

    I gotta say, this is pretty cool. The only carrier/destroyer ships I've seen have been either aesthetic or infection based. My only problem is the "free roam." It seems like the canyon should at least be restricted, ya know? Other than that, great job!

    Gaha my first map was something similar to this... It blew. As said b4 u definantyly should have soft kills so they can't fly to the pillar with a lazer and wreck without getting killed other than that you did better than my first attempt at a map ( the bomb wouldn't even spawn ;)

    The "free roam" went through alot of trials and it is accually necessary, as it is litterally suicidal to rush the ship without taking out the tanks first. also the canyon provides an excelent flanking route for those who know that a head on aproach won't work.
