    Battlegrounds

    My first serious map
Designed for use with 16 players

Battlegrounds is a map where the main layer and the Sky Bubble are used as one map. Fight on the ground, if you get bored, hop into a banshee and dog fight it out above.

    Overview
    [IMG]

    Weapons, Vehicles & Equipment

    - 8x Battlerifle (4 per team)
    - 2x Gravity Hammer (Both neutral)
    - 2x Bubble Shield (Both Neutral)
    - 2x Sniper Rifle (1 Per team)
    - 2x Shotgun (1 per team)
    - 2x Carbine (1 per team)
    - 2x Warthog (1 per team)
    - 2x Mongoose (1 per team)
    - 4x Banshee (2 per team)

    Gametypes

The map supports only Team Slayer (Red vs Blue) at the moment

    Other screenshots
Ignore the guys colour. I forgot to change the gametype from slayer to teamslayer

    What needs to be done

    - INTERLOCKING
    - Testing
    - Sorting out spawns
    - Equal distance between bases to each structure (I.E, Red and Blue base to the Spartan Laser structure)
    - Accurate placement of objects on the Spartan Laser structure. The Obelisks are not in line. And the "Number 5s" between each base and the laser structure need lining up too.
-Fix the roofs on the main-layer bases.

    Considered changes

    - No hornets. If i'm right, a player could bale out of a hornet and the hornet would float down to the main layer. Not what I want.
    - No grav hammers. As this hasn't been tested I have no idea if they are overpowered and dominate the map

    End

This is the map, as I said I know it needs interlocking. This is my first serious map and I need helpful critisizm, not posts saying "It's rubbish". This is also my first map post on forge hub so if I did something wrong please tell me.

WOW! My old foundry was called Battle Grounds. It was when I first found out about merging. This doesn't look so great, Needs more interlockzorz.

A first map really is more experimenting than anything else. For now, don't worry about aesthetics, ghost merging, or any of that complicated stuff. All that's needed now is practice and map flow.

As for the map, the main thing I don't like are the bunkers in the sky. A competative map can't really work when you include more than one level of sandbox. In fact, if you delete the skybox part, you'll have way mire objects to use on the main level.

    Good luck with ur forgeryisms!

Thanks for the feedback. The bunkers in the sky are part of this map's general idea. However, if you think it will work better without them I'll give it a shot

This post was really un-needed and thus reported.

The map itself is somewhat bland and lacking a creative geometry. I see you succesfully made it symmetrical. But the cover is, eh, not good, just a bunch of half turned block huges. However, the maps line of site is in need of some work. I hope you manage to finish this and post this.
