Ok does anyone no why Dice suddenly became obsessed with Texas in the BFBC2 storyline. There was the Merc from Houston, the Cowboys reference and Hagard asking to be buried at the Cowboys Stadium. I mean WTF?
sauce: Battlefield: Bad Company - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Houston merc was probably coincidence or something.
Since I live in Texas I thought maybe they did an IP check and would change stuff based on where you live. Well, I didn't really think that was what it was, but I thought "what the hell, I'll ask and see if everyone thinks I'm crazy"
That would be very interesting for a game... Except in Bad Company Canada... Would be so many Canadian Stereotypes...
"I was curlin' the other day, doncha know? Ol jimmy o'er here got is spot on, eh?" "You betchya he did." "Ay, the L Zed is o'er there, eh."
To be honest, I wasn't surprised about this new obsession of Texas in the game. Other than the characters, there were pretty much no connection from Bad Co. 2 to the first. What happened to the gold, to Mike One Juliette, the bad guy who survived at the end? So many unanswered questions, or did they fly over my head and go unnoticed?
