Fair enough, that really didn't make sense in the way I wrote it out. Either way, while the conclusion that a comparison can't be made while footage is still missing from one game seems logical, there are faults to that logic. Those faults being exactly what I've said in my very first post, and exactly what everyone who's responded has failed to acknowledge. Other than the fact that the picture was comprised mostly of little kids, there was little showing whether you meant for it to be serious or humorous. I assumed that you were being serious, and so I gave a serious response. Sorry. You're so clever. That seems extremely irrelevant. If you actually read through what I've said, I'm not arguing over which game is better or worse. Why should I care? I'll get what I get, and you'll get what you get. What I'm bringing up is how presumptuous and unfounded Transhuman Plus's post actually was. And, to be honest, I'm doing it mostly due to how saturated with sarcasm and arrogance it was. Again, irrelevant and so clever.
Neither :/ Don't have money. Never played BF(well sorta for one game)....sadly. Unless MW3 has some killer feature like treyarch has zombies, im not getting it. CoD has started completely overpricing **** mappacks. MW2 never really was that great, so i have my doubts about a new MW game. Yeah thats about it.

...It's comprised of one kid, though nice borderline racist comment toward Mexicans...and it's from a taco shell commercial. Serious life material and such. Point is they're both games. Evaluating them on any serious basis other than just what you prefer or feel like buying at the time is pointless and ultimately won't sway any one else's opinion.

I didn't intend it in that way, I just read the text and glanced at the pictures. By saying that I thought you were being serious, I meant that I thought you were trying to voice your opinion in a smartass manner. Rather than respond to what I thought was you being a smartass, I responded to what I thought you were trying to say. I was wrong, and nothing more really needs to be said about it. And again, I fully understand this; I pointed that out in my last post in response to rusty eagle. I really couldn't care less which game anyone else purchases. I haven't tried to sway anyone to one game or the other in any of my posts.
Then what is your function here...argument for the sake of it? So far you've just last worded conversations and said redundant statements. We get it, you said bla bla bla before. Sometimes you just gotta learn to let it go and let a conversation end at its own volition. Especially when adding nothing new to the discussion. Anyway I'll probably get mw3 just because I'm more familiar with the cod franchise then the Battlefield one. Also love CoD or hate it, the multiplayer is usually fun.
My function here was originally to point out Transhuman Plus's false assumption. I probably wouldn't have even cared about it if it wasn't written in such a sarcastic and arrogant way. I'm merely defending what I've said and will continue to do so as long as people try to dispute it or until a valid point is brought up against it. I've "last worded" conversations because I have something more to add, or something to say to the person. If I had nothing else to say, why would I even make another post? I've said redundant statements because people are bringing up the same points again and again that I've already addressed. Learn to let it go? I'm sorry, but arrogance doesn't fly in my book.
I'm no mod, but I think you can all cut the **** now. Something else I've realized about these games is how BF3 holding an open beta will help them out tremendously. A chance to try the game will not only pull in a lot of neutral gamers, but it will make for a much better online experience for the finished product. Gears 3 is getting the same kind of benefit, and I'm not aware of anything going on for MW3, so it should be interesting to see how it unfolds.
There will never be a multiplayer demo for a MW game, simply because it would let players know how similar it is to the prior MW and possibly sway them away from paying another $60.
Well there's also a difference between a demo and a beta. A beta will usually help fix bugs and improve the net code while a demo is just a trial of the final product. Even MW3 would benefit from a beta if it only meant less patches after release; sales aren't really an issue for them at this point.
That's why they're currently running a private alpha. Also, September 11th is just the public beta/demo; there will be a seperate, private beta before then.
