    WOW! I like pretty much evry aspect of this map. It has some crative components to it like the hill in the middle, the catwalks,etc. I can tell by looking at it that this was built for CTF. This is a very rare map CTF map to find. I love it, great job!

    Squid, thanks alot for the criticism..im always open for it. yeh i guess it could be done (blocking off the back entirely) and it would probably eliminate complaints. But to be honest, if you cant appreciate a map for what it is, and what it isnt, then you shouldnt have the pleasure of gracing it. However, you are right, and if i find some time in the future ill probably end up doing it anyway. And yeh i know it can be a bit tough getting up to the flag spawn, but that was kind of the intention. Giving the short distance needed to travel in order to score, i wanted to make it a bit more challenging to actually obtain the flag. A way of sort of ensuring that you will have to kill the opposing team more than once in a row (while you climb, they spawn) in order to score (most of the time). But im glad you like the map, im down to get some games goin on it any time!

    As for the pillar catwalks, it wasnt my original idea either, and though i cant remember the name of the Author, the map where i first saw it implemented was Bayou. Im sure you can find it using Bungie's search tool. Its a solid map, and is one of the first that really got my attention right when the Heroic Map Pack was released.

    thanks alot! let me know what you think after you check it out.

    Im really pretty surprised this map is getting more attention than Alta. shocking really, Alta is much more innovative and fast paced.

    I agree with you completely. If you aren't going to play it right, get the hell out. That's what the bootable option is there for, I guess. Like I was saying, it doesn't take away from the map's overall sweetness.

    That's really funny, my wife and I play Bayou all the time and I never would have made the correlation. I remember them being there and thought it was a nice touch, but I DL'd that back before I started doing forgethroughs prior to playing. For some reason my wife always kicks my ass on that level, so I never stopped too long to look around. Too funny.

    It's a weird phenomenon when good maps get overlooked (like mine *sob*)

    This looks interesting nice work. But when I heard the name I was thinking this would be a huge hill not a tiny one. But Nice work on this. : )

    yeh i feel ya. i plan on implementing the same technique on a larger scale on a future project. But i appreciate the positive feedback homie. Insurgent is badass. Im a fan.

    I really like the attention to detail in this map, and from just mearely looking at the design from your pictures I would say that this is a sweet map that i cant wait to try out...

    Two little things to note:
    1) as to the whole people getting out of the map, i havent played it so i dont really know what the problem is, but my general idea is, if they want to get out let them get out, just make sure that it doesnt benifit them in any way, and from looking at this map design, i cant see how it would help them at all...i dunno, just my thought
    2) I dunno if you ahd a reason in mind behind this, but as to the map weapons list I thought it was a little short. I always like to have a few shottys and especially snipers lying around, I think it adds the fun of the game, but that may just be me

    Other than that its a great map...

    Thanks for the feedback homie. as for the weapons, the map is really too small for both a rocket launcher and and sniper rifle. its supposed to be challenging...plus theres 2 maulers on the map.

    2 maulers
    2 brute shots
    1 rocket launcher
    4 rifles

    Thats alot of power for that size/type of a playspace

    This map is excellent. I downloaded and played, another authentic feeling map. Just like Warehouse, this map feels offivial. Great job! Oh and also despite another comment, I don't see any further areas for you to interlock. - Brute Captain

    Much appreciated bro. Yeh Warehouse is dope. i told him its one of the top 3 maps ive ever downloaded. About the interlocking...i know what you mean, no more interlocking was necessary. However, I know what he was talking about, like that the boxes making up the floor on the column catwalks could have been interlocked so that you see no seem. Ya know purely aesthetic things like that. But the map flows perfectly as is. Thanks for the feedback homie...if you really like authentic feeling maps check out my Santero map (link on the original post, or in the competitive forums). I honestly think its far better than Battle Mound.

    I just got around to play this map and I must admit, it was amazing. Most of the battles happened either in the center or in the long narrow "porch" as I call it. Just have one beef with it.

    When I was battleing on the "porch" I kept constantly falling down on the teleporter forgeting there is no floor above it. I would add sort of a roof above the tele so one doesn't have to always jump the gap to get to the other side.

    im glad you liked it! i hear what youre saying about the porch. but i like the gap...itd be too easy if you could just run straight across. just make sure your jumps are towards the tallest part of the roof (against the wall).

    Forge-through: The aesthetics on this map are awesome. I love the covered walkways and the mound. This map is already very well done so there isn't much for me to comment on.

    Good use of the symmetry option when placing objects. It was a bit difficult to try and picture the layout of the map for the two different types of games, but I'm sure it woks well on both. But it might be confusing for a player to play 1 Flag right after Multi-Flag and all of a sudden some fence walls are gone or there or whatever. Still, people don't usually use that option so I'm glad you did.

    My only recommendation would be to add some respawn points closer to the center. You could keep them outside of the CTF respawn areas if you want. But for games like Slayer I would get bored of constantly respawning in the bases.

    Anyway, great looking map. I really want to try a multi-flag here.
