12-16 Players Bastian (working title)

    I will update the thread with shots of blue and the middle structure soon.
    Hey folks, I have another project I'd like to share and hopefully gain some feedback on. Before I say anything else, I will have no criticisms on aesthetics. I'm tired of this being the main focus from some of you. Thank you.
    Also, any name suggestions are welcome, a hue hue.

    Bastion is a 12-16 player map with focus on vehicular domination. With a focus on One Flag, Bastion will also support Extraction (7 total sites) and KotH. So far, I have tested Psycho Duck's classic BTB Team Slayer, and I must say it was pretty darn fun. Now, onto the tools of destruction.

    Weapons and vehicles.

    Rocket Launcher
    Sp'Lazer
    Frags: 2
    Railgun
    Needler: 2

    Chain Hog: 2
    Ghosts: 2
    Gauss Hog
    Rocket Hog

    Now, before you go ape-**** about the gauss and/or rocket hog, I am testing it thoroughly with classic settings to ensure that they are not overpowered. So far, so good.

    I like that this is balanced, yet not totally symetrical. the rock paths for the vehicles look smooth and not problematic or frustrating.

    I do wonder if perhaps the inside of the bases and perhaps more of the outside area needs a little more cover for infantry not traveling on wheels? But that's from a bird's eye view so may not really be needed.

    I have had a concern with some of the openness of both the interior and exterior of the map, but, so far, have not had any issues or complaints. Then again, I've only had one test. :b
    I''ll be sure to keep an eye on it. Thanks for voicing your concerns.

    you actually got tests done on it? nice, you might want to fix the typo in the title though. "Bastian".

    But yeah, I did. Surprisingly smooth first test. So far just a few minor spawn errors. Care to partake soon? :D

    played pretty good, didnt feel too crowded (like mine did, though mine was intended for 4v4 so that was expected.) My friend thought it could use a little more rocks for cover down on the grassy bit.

    The map was a bit older and has had a few changes to the geometry, but is basically the same.
