Spartan2068 submitted a new map:

Banished - Banished Forces did not expect Humans would seek to reclaim Skopje after the war.

The Banished, having arrived here after a small skirmish with a Covenant Fleet led by Xytan 'Jar Wattinree at the edge of Covenant controlled space, from which they fled from, set up bases across the glassed surface of Skopje so they could have an outpost within under the nose of the Covenant. When the Covenant fell at the end of the war, Liang-Dortmund sent a team to deglass the planet, not knowing of the presence of the Brute led faction.

Updated Appearance

I have gone into this map and added on blocks to make everything feel more 'Brutish'. This now makes the map feel a bit more like something the Banished would have created. Updated pictures are coming soon

New Images and Modifications

The new images of the updated map are now up. As well as this, I have added new pieces from the Anvil's Legacy Update on the map to add a more Covenant feel. This includes the Covenant symbols, crates and covers, all in the colours of the Banished. As well as this, the Banished Elites now feature a Phantom hovering above them, to show they have some vehicles

The following has been updated;

Red Base and Blue Base now have Grav Lifts that take players to the Central Structure

Red Base and Blue Base now have Grenade Launchers to assist with countering vehicles on the map

Two Sentinel Beams have been added in Long Hall (Lower Central Structure)

Removed corpses from Overwatch (Upper Central Structure)

Added two Boltshots in Overwatch

Added four pillars in Overwatch

Hidden Easter Egg

I do not know if anybody has found this but I am going to be giving people a hint to an Easter Egg hidden on the map.

Few know of the story
A creature buried for great power by a mad man
Whose reign shall be long
But if this beast is unleashed
All shall fear the king the least
For the milk of his labours shall be for naught
As a new foe would need to be fought

Banished Reborn

Banished has received a major rework in many areas as well as having updated visuals.

The bases have been reworked on the inside, removing the upper platform with kill boundaries and having the catwalks replaced with platforms. The lighting inside has also been changed and one of the exits on the ground floor has been sealed off
