Back-Alley Back-Alley is a simple, yet complicated map. Simple by design but complicated through gameplay. I made this map virtually today (30minutes ago ') and I just had to show you guys. The map is based on the streets or outskirts of a town/city, that has been in a warzone. Overturned warthogs and mongooses are placed around the map to show this. The map is made for Team Slayer. Specifically Clan Wars. By the way this map was built for my clan's clan wars. Hence the game type "Clan Wars." Download Back-Alley Download Clan Wars Map Screenshots Forge Overview This is the upside view of Back-Alleys The entrance to the storage room. You spawn here and each team has 1 of these. Some weapons are hidden under pallets. In this case a shotgun. GamePlay Screenshots Additional Information Weapons 2 Battle rifles 2 pairs of SMG's 1 Rocket Launcher 1 Spartan Laser 2 Energy Swords 1 Magnum(Random ') 2 Sniper Rifles 2 Machine-Gun Turrets(not including the Warthog's) 2 pairs of every grenade in each Store Room Vehicles 3 Mongooses 1 Warthog, Turret Equipment 2 Trip Mines 2 Bubble Shields Also, I'm on a school holiday at the moment so ill try to bring new maps every other day. Also, help me come up with ideas. I never figure out what im gonna make 'til I start by asking around people. I hope you guys will enjoy this map. Update 4/5/08: No more Swords Why?-Added custom powerups in their place(150% moving and 110% damage). Plus the shotgun is in the center by the dumpster The rocket, GONE. Laser, Outa there!! Why?-imbalances the gameplay. Plus no use whatsoever Added a Flamethrower Why?- Who doesn't like fire? Warthog? what Warthog? Why?- It doesn't help just sits there. Truck added in its place. I cant get out!? Why?-Put a shitload of stuff down so no one could get out Grenades Out Why?- As Kapura stated it imbalanced gameplay. The grenades are now scattered around the map. Spike Grenades are out. Where am I? Why?-Moved spawnpoints out of the stores and at the ends of the road Map By: AssasinasinJasn aka Jason
Bumping is not allowed here at Forge Hub. If you have something else to add to your map post, modify your previous message, and the "NEW" tag will be added to your map post once again. Forge Hub holds its forums to a higher standard than Bungie.net, so please refrain from bumping any more

PS. if any one knows how to directly link to halfway down a page can they PM me. GamerGuevara
This looks like a good map, it has a feel of that old halo 2 level where all the boxes go down the little escalator thingy, anyways good job!
Ya it took me a while to get it right lol. So go download it haha!!! BTW i read the rules and i will stop double posting sorry bout that
Yea! Ty for downloading this map!! I want to get it featured lol (prob wont happen) And yes i do have neutral spawn points around the map. there are some at the ends of the road and others in the alleys of the street. I cant give you more info because that would be telling(plus i forgot where i put the rest '') lol
Looks too plain to me, there isn't anything about it that makes me wanna DL it. If your using boxes its a good thing to turn the bottom toward the player in most cases. it makes it look smoother. I'm not a big fan of hidden weapons in competitive maps. It also sounds like you have a lot of Power weapons, 2 swords, a rocket launcher, 2 snipers, 2 machine gun turrets, a spartan lazer. A new map every other day is a lot, I usually spend 2 weeks making mine, then 1 week polishing it. Try spending a couple days coming up with a very good map layout then carefully putting it together, considering the looks as well. You can also look at the Forging 101 section for tips on forging, including inf. budget and interlocking objects, which opens a lot more options for your map. Overall, very good for your first or so map!
Defiler, I took your advice i have updated the map and taken out some weapons and added others in their place. But about the "its too plain" i think it looks fine. Its supposed to be an open street anyway.
This looks very, very nice. I've thought about the overturned warthog idea before, but the way you did it makes it look very nice. I'll be back with real feedback later.
