    Map Name: Atmosphere

    This map plays as more of an open 4v4 CTF map. It has the "fun" side with the Mantis and Warthog, but also has the ability to disable vehicles and then turns right into a competitive MLG style play. I haven't seen too many maps that actually utilize or "Think up" ways to integrate the landscape of the maps. The Trench side is nice allowing players to move freely down the map and even though its open in the center of the map, game play seems to flow just fine. I left $1500 in cash to be used for aesthetics or any changes that are recommended.

    Concerns:

    (1.) Initial Pod drop seems to have too high a count in the snipers as well as rockets. (Prefer 1 spare not 2).

    (2.) Weapon positioning and timers

    Responses:

    Be as brutal as you want. I just wanted a map that integrated the map layout more.

    This looks like it could ptentially play well and am glad to see a map using the terrain. Maps like Valhalla are often my favorites and we haven't seen too many yet.

    I think the reason however, is because C.A.'s maps don't have terrain that's easy to work with and have pre-built structures: Erosion has a bunch of hills, half-cliffs and dips which means making an original map is harder. Impact has the pre-built building on one asteroid and Ravine has the odd, off center ditch with Forerunner beams in the middle of the "natural" portion of the map. I think this map would work really well and am planning to make a 4v4, optionally 8v8 map for Slayer/CTF by using the terrain.

    it is well made, but isn't it too open in the center? I would personnally stay in the bases.

    Thanks for the kind words. In regards to "center of the map" that's where the terrain comes in (three room building on the top of the map and on the bottom the culvert). Moving across the map isn't too difficult and plays real well for CTF. The added boulders in the middle of the map also allows advancement throughout the middle of the map and still providing cover.

    Weapons and Mantis were added more for fun so if you want to play more competitive I'd recommend removing mantis, scattershot, sticky det and just leave snipes and rocket with a reduced clip count.
