Well as we all know asset is the next big thing. (Although let us not forget Conquest) Taking this into consideration i am about to embark on a 4 part mappack apply named City Streets. The concept will be 3 min holdout maps for Asset, all maps will be remakes of areas from Mombasa's city streets (aka from ODST duh). These style of Asset maps will not only test players team work but strain their skill at halo 3.

    Proposed classes i will have:

    Brute:
    Spikers x 2: Spike grenade

    Stalker Brute:
Invis: Mauler: Firebombs: Spawn time Idk yet

    Brute Major:
Brute shot: 2x Spike grenades mb os? idk

    Brute Chieftain:
Same as all other asset, hammer: Custom powerup

    Jackal:
Beam rifle: idk what else, Jackals will command high ground areas aka balconies etc, just like ODST

Vehicles: Ghosts, Brute Major/ Brute Regular, Wraith (only on one map) same as ghost.

As for weapons for the ODST's, they will vary on the map. Maps that are only accesible by ghots will have Rockets with one clip. As for the Wraith there will be a Splazer. Sniper on a map mb, Br start duh, SMG's, Pistols, Frags.

Well i will update this (if i start it this year) with pics of the first map:

    City Streets: The Courtyard
A courtyard area similar to the part where you find the destroyed gauss cannon in ODST (may be replaced with anchored warthog mini gun) It will have great aesthetics many levels of play as well as indoor rooms and buildings.

Well hope (for all those who took the time to read) this has sparked your attention, this will hopefully be done (depnding on the start) by Feburary 2010.

Mounted Guass turrets don't go well. I tried it, the asset would always ride in the passenger seat away from harm, while the other gunned on the turret.

Yeah well the gauss is kinda over powered anyway, thats why im going to try a regular hog and make it so only the turret is avaliable for use. This is what will most likely take me the longest.

Won't work because the only thing sticking out will be the turret and the guy's head; neither of which you can actually do damage to.

Gauss turrets are destructable depending on the method of creation. Some designs merely armor the sides, while others entirely cover the top. A small crack is usually left in the armor to allow destruction of the warthog if the enemies are close enough. The player using the gauss turret is also still vulnerable, and is often killed quicker than other players, being stationary and by allowing hornets and missile pods to lock on and firing upwards these will come down on the top decimating the gunner (javelin). These still must be carefully balanced with sight-lines. If you need help with any of this I should be available over the next two weeks; gamertag is...look to the left...no your other left.

What about positioning the hog at an incline? Oh say a 45 degree angle. That way the gunner is fully exposed. It will limit the sight lines for the gunner but allows for maximum ability to kill the operator.
