    This is my first time making an asset map, and I haven't tested this at all, but I'm looking for some comments on what you guys think. From what you can see, (And horrible f-ing pictures they are, with the scorebar on there), am I doing something really wrong for this gametype?

    I guess I'll should tell you what the game-play is. The Asset starts at the bottom floor of the building in a prison, then that team equips themselves and works up 6 floors to escape on the hornet. The hornet is set on instant respawn, in case the covies mess with it. The hornet must then fly to a distant landing zone.

    The Covies, start in mid air (outside the building), so they die instantly and respawn in the chambers in the bottom floor of the building. There, they get one of the 3 class-types of bruteness. Then they must take THEIR choice of teleporter that brings them on the rooftop, or near the top of the atrium levels of the building.

    Anyways, if you got questions......

    [IMG]
    Overview of the building

    [IMG]
    Just a random hallway, so you have an idea what the interior is like

    [IMG]
    The prison that the Asset starts in.

    [IMG]
    Just a pic of the rooftop enterance that leads to the hornet pad.

    [IMG]
    This is the landing pad "scoring zone" for the Asset.

    [IMG]
    This is the starting level-Basement. (With above floors obviously removed)
    Yellow= Cheiftan brute area
    Blue = Invisible brute area
    Green = Regular brute area.
    Pink X = vip starting spawn.

    I've made the cheiftan ONLY teleport to the rooftop, by the hornet.
    The Invisible brute ONLY teleports to the top floor of the atrium level.
    The regular brutes can choose between either one, as they have both teleporters.

    Weapons:
    Cheiftan gets a hammer
    Invisible gets deployable cover, mauler and fire bombs
    Regular gets energy drainer, spikers or plasma rifles and plasma grenades.

    The good guys get smg, pistol or flamethrower. Frags and deployable cover and radar jammer.

    Note: There is one weapon on the map, That is the beam rifle, located on the rooftop. Its there as a last chance for the brutes to snipe the Asset while in flight.

    EDIT** Also know that ALL teleporters are one-way. No going back into the basement once you leave. This is to prevent camping down there.

    I dont know much about the exact rules of Asset but the map looks great, the idea seems pretty solid. The forging looks well done. Good job.

    oh, I've actually changed it quite a bit since these pics yesterday. Right after I posted this, some people came and did a forge-through with me and pointed out some very obvious no-no's in an asset map. Glad you like it though!!

    I'm not overly sure if ODSTs are supposed to pick up equipment because there isnt any equipment in H3ODST, however i'd check up with Rifte Gifle on that or take a look at the guide.

    Overall, it seems rather nice. I like the idea of the giant block really, it leaves little room for external Aestethics and the means to create blockers which should work well.

    If you need a hand testing, I can play on saturdays.

    cool. I actually erased all the equipment EXCEPT the radar jammer for the odst. I sent RifleGifle a message and he said he was going to look over the map when he has some time. I also fixed up the spawn points for the covies and replaced the "goal" marker to the roof (getting rid of the landing pad outside the building) and put a banshee in the hornet's place. For the covies to use. I also fixed the odst starting points, so the asset is the only one starting in the jail cell (cause the rest were there to break him out), and the odst spawn on the other side of the bars. If I get some test games in, I'll be sure to send you out an invite.

    Looks really good, Looks like somewhat of a Power core like map, which was made by steve11selby. Overall looking pretty good. I like the jalbars.

    Dont wanna advertise or anything, but we have a new asset site, its in my sig, you could post this preview there, once you register.

    Great job on the map so far anyways.
