great map, and for some reason, i just love how you have the tree in the right spot in the 4th picture. I dont know. But isnt that pelican in the wrong spot? and is the elevator from Part 1 to Part 2 there? If it is, Make this a slayer map as well. Might not work well as a pro map, but would be really fun. And if it isnt, just put 2-way teleporters there. And if you won't, I will and its funny how theres usually only 2 people who ever comment on your maps, even though theyre great. except one of them. Well the rest are great!
Alright, so this looks pretty good, and I hope you don't get offended by me saying this, but this is Reach. If we wanted to play every other map from every other Halo game, we would go play them. Every single one of your map posts has been a remake, and you've got some talent, but I think it should go towards your own creative endeavors instead of remaking someone else's map. I honestly don't see the point in remaking maps from a game that exists (and is being remade). I'm sorry if this counts as spam, but I really think it needed saying. That being said, what you've got here looks solid. I like the use of terrain and it looks like it would play well.

I think you should make remakes of each of the separate areas instead of trying to do it all in one map. AotCR is too big to remake. You could actually make a high quality remake of it if you were to separate them into different maps. The bridge is just one of the many areas that would make a great remake. I'm not going to download this simply because you have tried to do the impossible. I mean look at this: you have an almost completely empty field in one part of the map. If you were to take my suggestion, it wouldn't likely be an Invasion map, but at least you would make multiple maps that are both detailed and playable. Campaign levels are impossible to get a good remake of, and they don't often play well. They were meant as campaign levels, after all. Inspirations occasionally work, though. I agree with what Rho Fs had to say above. You shouldn't focus all your time on trying to remake maps from other games. I'd also like to see what you could do on an original project.
i see your point, but this isn't an unplayable map. I tested this map several times and every time players have said to me that it's awesome for it's gameplay and aesthetics. I don't think it's impossible to remake campaign levels into invasion maps, invasion suits them nicely. I did the impossible several times, belive you to me( just take a look to my remake of beaver greek on breakpoint, or my remake of sandtrap on tempest). But it's your opinion and i respect it. Just wait for my next invasion maps
you do realize that just about every map in reach is either a remake or taken directly from the campaign? Sometimes it's even both. *cough* Reflection *cough* Also last I checked, Goku was not Vegeta...
A failure on Bungie's part. That doesn't mean that one should follow that type of thinking. By making a remake, that's one less original map that could be made in the same time frame, and less creative ideas that could be used. I gotta admit though, his Sandtrap, Coagulation, and Beaver Creek remakes were pretty original, even for remakes.
guys quit bashing him... if he wants to make remakes than go ahead and let him. Its his choice on what maps he wants to make. I personally love all of his remakes, even though they might not be the most accurate, but theyre very original. I personally hated this mission in CE because it was so boring and repetitive, but i like how you incorporated all main objectives into invasion. I havent taken a look at it yet, but i have downloaded. Aesthetics are great and gameplay looks pretty good. Great map, defnitley one of your best!
Am I the only one that thought it funny he referred to remakes of maps from other games as "more original"?? @SMV- Don't worry, I love a good remake. Looking at what you have in your screenshots, the bridge portion looks the most interesting. I'd like to see that developed into a real multiplayer map- similar perhaps to Halo 3's Narrows.
