A map designed with stealth and strength in mind. I designed this map to play with a custom game type. Unfortunately, I recently discovered that the game type is basically impossible to make, but it's reminiscent of CrossFire's Ghost Mode. No screenshots as of yet, but I could get possibly get some if it'll stir more interest in the map. Really, I just want reviews. The map DOES currently work with One Bomb Assault but it doesn't want to accept that fact there there are two bomb sites, as it only shows one. Please give me any feedback. The structure is the main thing I'd like reviews, as there aren't supposed to be any weapons and such on the map. I'm on almost everyday so send me an invite if you've got a group going and care to give feedback. My GT is the same as my username. Also, before I forget, the whole point of me making this map was to try and bring this into Halo: Ghost Mode: All Black List terrorists are cloaked in invisibility (while not moving), and are only armed with melee weapons, while all Global Risk mercenaries are fully visible, but can use all available weapons. The Black List must use stealth to blow up either one of the targets with C4 to win or kill all the Global Risk soldiers, while the Global Risk mercenaries must defend the targets and shoot down any ghosts. Global Risk can locate invisible Black List when in their vicinity as they emit a heavy breathing sound, footsteps, splashing in the water, and ghosts also become significantly visible while moving. If there is any possible way you could think of getting this to work, please tell me. Also, the original game mode is from CrossFire: Rival Factions. Thanks in advance for any constuctive feedback! [br][/br]Edited by merge: This is the area to the right of the spawn. Keep in mind the map is designed for stealth. Area to the left of the spawn. The smaller pillars offer slight cover and the collapsed walkway in the foreground offers a height advantage.
You could try one bomb assualt. If I'm not mistaken (and I might be) you can edit defender and attacker traits, giving the one team invisibility and swords. Then Set the lives to 1 and everyone has 1 life. Unless you want only the 1 team to have 1 life, than you're screwed, sorry. Hopefully that helps! Oh, and the map looks nice, I can see the areas that would play well with the stealth theme. If you do figure this out, I'd love to help test. My GT: coolaid55
Thanks Thanks. I've been playing around with a game mode recently. I use One Bomb Assault to start with. I may edit the map so it just supports one bomb site and put the bomb site somewhere else. I may or may not upload the game mode. Currently, I haven't found a way to make classes appear specifically for attacker/defender. I did get the lives down to 1 only quite easily. Perhaps I overlooked something as I'm not that used to creating a custom game to go with my maps. (I usually just use Slayer/Oddball/etc.)
this is not the right forum were you post maps. Post maps in the Halo reach custom content forum. this does not count as a map preview as you provided a map download link. Once in custom content, click the genre you map fits, so this would be in the competitive also you may want a few more pictures, some poeple love lots of pictures. cool map btw.
