Area 7: Lockdown This map contains 4 switches. Compadable for SLAYER, TS, and INFECTION, and infection will do....... Weapons in armory never respawn and have little ammo. Description: Area 7 is currently under LOCKDOWN. Please evacuate the building immedeitly. Sirens were going off like crazy. A couple of poeple observing from the observation room ran, but me and a couple of others were experimenting in the testing center when the aliens woke and went beserk. We scrambled to get through. The others were jerks and theyhit the switch before i to the first of 3 sliding doors that nothing could get through them. The vents above the exit was open. He jumping and started to crawl through the vents. The door was left open, they were going in through there. Aliens, already broke out of the tube, breaking into the observation room and into the vents. he crawled faster until he hit a dead end in the vents. There was a closed door that overlooked the armory. One of the others hit the switch that closed the door, the problem with that was that the door could be destroyed. The man picked up weapons and prepared. The an in the vent and turned to face an alien in his face.............. Others were runing in the main hallway, then into the main entrance, some jumped into the vents from there without knowing what was in there. The Last ran outside to find out that they had already been fenced in. They had to turn and fight with what little supply they had. I used Overshields that you cant pick up as alarms. Wow, this is a nicely made map. I only wish you had put more thought into weapon placement- having an "armory" on an infection map is always a bad idea. I wish you would have configured this for more gametypes than just infection, also. But good job with the actual map.
you use a lot of great techniques. even switches. way to go. the story is confusing and has lots of typos, you should fix that
Actually Ace,i forgot to say this and i fixed it, The armorys weapons have very low amount of ammo and never respawn for the reason that you were thinking of, no hidden turrets or anything, only the pistols on the tables respawn at 150 seconds
OK, well that helps some, but I'm mainly saying that if you hadn't made the armory you could have configured it for other gametypes. Infection can be a fun gametype, but it's not the only one, you know?
uhmm looks good, many smooth merges, but it looks too easy for the humans, what with 1 final room to defend
I think if you gave us an overhead blueprint or sketch of the map I would be able to tell what the layout of the map is. It looks symetrical but I can't see what the shape of the level is it looks confusing though.
overhead blueprint is posted, kind of cheesy but, i made it quick and a basic overhead so there you go....
looks really cool i like how the doors shut on you if your too slow. Question (im hoping for an answer) do some humans spawn in the obsevation room and some spawn in the testing lab? because it would be fun to close the doors on the fleeing fellow humans and run yourself.
actually ya......some of the humans spawn in the observation room and others spawn in the testing center and the aliens respawn in varies spots and the aliens spawn in in the test tube
Well, this map looks ok, however, I think that there are some camping issues with the "Main Entrance". People could hide above the door and kill zombies that go through. Anyway, it seems like a nice map. It looks a tad generic, but the switches are nice. Good job, 4/5.
This is a really great map, I love the switches. I think you should have put more thought into the weapon placement though, having armories is a big no no and I really don't see how this map will work with TS. Overall 4/5
its not really sopposed to work with ts, and slayer, i just at least make my maps have that gametype in them, its really for any infection.

Holy Crap thats sick dude! Such a good idea and done so well! The sliding door is perfect! The interlocking is in the best places possible it looks so fun!
