No promises, But I'll see if I can join. Got a new jerb and I don't know my schedule yet. I don't have anything to test, but I can be a filler.
Sorry I haven't posted any feedback on your maps, guys, I've been extremely sick since the day of the lobby and haven't been able to do much apart from sleep. I'll get around to it by either tomorrow or the day after. Please forgive my tardiness. *blushes*
I, and most likely a few others, did not sign up because weekdays are busy. If the TCOJ lobbies were moved to Friday/Saturday/Sunday, I would expect more sign-ups.
I think it's actually the opposite. Most people plan out their weekends and have a lot of stuff to take care that they couldn't during the week after work/school. Early in the week on a Tuesday evening is a great time to hold it because most people have the evenings free and nothing to do but sit at home.
Yeah, that's why it's on Tuesdays. Weekends fill up with other things while most of us get off work or whatever we're doing and just wasnt to play some games. Thus, Tuesday.
It's historically (as in, based on running this thing for the last couple years on various nights) been easier to get guys for a weeknight lobby than a weekend one. We've played on Friday and Saturday occasionally and it seems like the other nights we've done it have been better for us. As for the sign-ups, I presume the main reasons are 1) the warming weather, which always takes away gamers to engage in a less dark and lonely existence, and 2) the aging out of Halo 4. The older it gets, the more customs lobbies struggle. It happened with Reach too, which was a big part of why we took a hiatus just before H4 was released. All that said - if we can't get a few more people by tomorrow, I'm just going to cancel and play some matchmaking. Anyone who will be online is welcome to join me!
Or you could move it to tonight... Haha I'll be on tonight probably around 8 if anyone wants to play tonight.
^so tempting. We could also, it it's a smaller lobby, not divide it up between you and I, Nutty, and that way have one more player, and just end it a bit sooner. This of course depends on how many we end up with.
I won't be on tonight - it's my last night with my wife before she flies out of state for a job interview. In other words, Tuesday and Wednesday are video-games-and-unhealthy-food nights; Monday and Thursday are say-goodbye-or-hello-to-a-loved-one nights. As for tomorrow, I'm up for anything, but I'd rather have some fun in matchmaking than run a crippled lobby, if we're only going to have 5 people or whatever. I've had my fill of 2v2 games lately, thanks.
Fine ND. Be nice to your wife! But what about my feelings huh? What about me? Me and Audience will have a good time without you!
If you REALLY loved me, you'd be there tomorrow night, you explosives-loving primate. By the way, CTF yesterday was very fun. You're a near-suicidal warthog driver, and I love you for it.
Awe thanks It was super fun. And Speaking of CTF, did you know that Lightning Flag has no sprint? If you wanted a classic CTF experience you would just need to change a few settings back to default. Also I would love join tomorrow. I will see what I can do. But I make no promises.
I'm resigned to perma-sprint, just like I was resigned to AAs in Reach. Basically, I prefer the out-of-box experience of each Halo game because I got tired a long time ago of swimming against the tide and not enjoying myself in the most populous matchmaking playlists. I never wanted to be one of those grumps who will only play one playlist with 150 people in it on average, because they object to AAs, motion trackers, sprint, or whatever else. I do admit though that I vote for non-infinity games in CTF, because personal ordnance gives me hives. It's one of the only new Halo features that I pretty much resent across the board. Initial ordnance is good, but personal... ugh. Really dislike games that turn into pure chaos of every other player having a sniper, binary, rockets, or incin cannon. Not to mention players refusing to move because it's easier to sit still, rack up kills, and wait for ordnance. They could make that system a lot better.
Ya I know how you feel. I don't find myself kicking against the goads much either. That was more of an FYI just in case you didn't know.
I'd like to grab a slot if one is available. I have a couple maps I'd like to try out (CTF on Deja Vu and/or Slayer on Alcazar (name up for debate)). I should be available all night.
