    Looks interesting, Unrivaled.

    I'm looking forward to the next lobby. I'll properly run reactor, which has been edited a bit based off of some of the happenings that went on last time.

    Damn, we're getting everybody in here. All we need is the triumphant returns of X2Sora, GrenadeGorilla and Overdoziz to make this the perfect, ridiculously overstuffed lobby.

    Sorry yall, I haven't had time, and won't for a week, to look back at the maps to do my feedback. I'll try and do it by memory late tomorrow. Thanks for all of the feedback on Zinc though!

    Mobilize - I think this was the KotH game. I felt like it was very seperated. I felt like to get to the hill I had to walk all the way to the outside to get underneath. I didn't even know that part of the map existed till the hill went down there. I loved the looks though and it was very solid.

    Camber - Haven't played this in a while. You released this already right? It seems done and I like it haha. Especially the warthog ramps.

    Diamondback - I think this was the one with the lift in the center. It was pretty fun. I do agree though, that once I found that top ledge I just chilled up there most of the time. It seemed very .... wayish (lots of different paths and drops and angles and what not lol)? It's not necessarily a bad thing, just makes it a bit hectic.

    Chimera - Some of this looks kinda cool. The gameplay seems pretty normal too, There do seem to be a lot of power weapons here though. You should probably get rid of that top ledge with the binary rifle. It's a bit campy.

    Pristine Ravine - Never fails to please.

    Nexus - B. E. A. Utiful. The lag needs fixing, but I think that's it. I fell off I think like 5 times, but it was still fun haha.

    Daybreak - Think I mixed up this with Mobilize, so i'll just talk about the real mobilize here. The layout is really nice and again, looks amazing. I don't have any problems with this one. The vehicles seem to balance well too.

    Sorry for the very late review, been swamped with stuff. I'll be sure to get on it next time.


    Archway - Generally liked how this played. That being said, the map plays as a circuit, with the middle areas essentially a no-man's land. It plays well enough where if your intentions is that the middle be dangerous, it should be fine, but I think there either needs to be incentive or a bit more reason to traverse the center. I you do, do not make it too easy, flag plays very well along the outside, and it should stay that way.

    Black Briar Manor - The map plays and looks great, my only concern is the frame rate. I want to say this is due to a decent amount of glass overlap in the center, but you should experiment reworking the center to find the cause.

    Scattershot Pro 6 - SO MUCH FUN. I know I might be biased in that my kills exceeded everyone else by 20, but I thought the colors were crazy and the gameplay was exciting as a whole. Can't say much for balance, but I think I just played well that night. Would love to play this again, it was a fun party game.

    Zinc - Overall a fun game. The flag spawns in CTF are a little reclusive, and KOTH might have played a little better if the hills weren't so randomized, but that's not the map's fault. The sniper tower areas had a soft kill boundary and a trait zone right above them, so when you jumped, you would hit it. I suggest you fix that. Other than that, good job.

    Octave - Thought this game went a little fast. Can't tell whether it was because our team was primarily just running the flag or the map itself, but it played well. I never had problems with the lifts either. Overall it was fun, but quick for CTF.

    Reactor - The center area had a bit of frame rate lag, and there was a grav lift on one side that seemed to take you to the top of a ramp that led down to the base of the lift. It confused the hell out of me. Other than that the map played fairly well, enjoyed the battles at the start of the match through the center.

    Purlieu - Thought this went ok, I thought other CTF test last week went better. I'll try to rework that 45 degree angle in that building as well as try and open some of the crampness up.

    Mobilize - Thought this played well even though vehicles were supported. I didn't feel too distant from anything and the vehicles didn't feel overpowering. The map accomodates both well. Nice job.

    Camber - I know this has been released, but I'll just say aside from the dominant sniper, the map was very fun, and I especially enjoyed riding around in the vehicles.

    Diamondback - It took a bit to get an understanding of the layout, but after that, the map played pretty good. The center was interesting with the gravity volume, but some of the base areas felt slightly too defendable. This could possibly be because one team was playing better, but I can't be sure. Nice job though.

    Chimera - Always felt this was a bigger brother to Guardian, and it plays reasonably well now. The towers are definately dominant, but getting to them isn't a struggle, so it plays rather nicely. The map is a battle to dominate the towers, but the lack of a true flow does not make this play bad. Good job.

    Pristine Ravine - Thought the design was nice and simple and it played well. Possibly tweaking some of the outer areas could flush out the map a little more. KOTH played well on here too. Nice job.


    Nexus - This was a surprise test, I had just finished spawning on the map an hour before testing. Found the map needed a few railings and that the center has frame-rate lag in-game. I've added railings to the sides and tweaked the center to retain both aesthetic and frame-rate. The Damage Boost spawn has been redone to provide more dancefloor as well/ Hopefully this will fix the problems.

    Daybreak - Played this a few times now, and enjoyed the games. Love the use of ramps and the hills were balanced and fun. No real complaints, nice job.


    I left after that, sorry to all of the map I missed.

    I really am excited for this lobby. I decided to go a little crazy on the erosion map. One team will get. Mantis, Sniper, railgun, sword, and the other will get rockets saw, needler and spartan laser.

    I went a little more conservative on the impact map, which it think will probably be my best competitive map, or (so i hope) right now it has 2 shotguns, 2 concision rifles, a sniper and a rocket.

    I decided to put a waypoint on the weapons for the first test and leave weapons on map for future tests.

    Sorry guys I was outta town last week/weekend. I never got a chance to leave feedback on all the maps, but I enjoyed all of them and didn't have any specific suggestions on how to improve them that wasn't already mentioned. Thanks so much for the feedback on my maps it will help a ton finding ways to make them better, I do read and consider all suggestions.

    Diamondback was my second ever test, it needs a lot of work still. More tests after more changes will help see if I can find a way to make that layout work. All feedback is more then welcome, don't be nice, please tell me where it sux and where it's decent.

    Is it an issue if I have to leave before the maps are all run? I'd love to play a bit, but I cant imagine wanting to be on for more than a few games. If that will mess you guys up, I'll not show.

    Not at all, that would be awesome! Its a shame not many people sign up from here. Barely any to be honest... We get plenty of people from HaloCustoms.com but there will always be room for anyone signing up here, since we were here before there. Come along and play a few :)

    Yeah, I don't get why people don't want to play either. Even for just a bit. Its puzzling.

    Anyway, I'll try to remember to show up for this. I have a history of forgetting these events :p.

    That map looks awesome Unrivaled, can't wait to play it!

    I will be testing a few flood maps with my slots. One is a re-imagination of my map from Reach; Pandora's Fear. The other, Our Daily Bread, my Linear Flood map.

    Will every game by 10 player matches? Unrivaled mentioned he will be testing 4v4 maps, will they have to be played as 5v5?

    That's correct, unless we can't get more than 8 players. But we haven't had a problem filling up to 10 lately.

    Okay, one of my maps is intended for more like 13 players, so it might not play too well :p
