Archbishop is an exercise in small, tight, concise Halo map design.

Currently tested to fit 2-8 mans comfortably, though initial spawns are set up for maximum capacity.

Slayer only. Symmetrical Arena. Great for SWAT.

All feedback is welcomed, encouraged, appreciated.

    Enjoy.

from the pictures this map looks really nice and I have to say I love what you did with the glass sails to make that design in the last picture.

I like smaller maps because most of my friends stopped playing halo so I like seeing things that can be a 2 player and still fun.

This is your first map! It is spectacular! I just can't belieave that a map could look so beautiful while playing so well. The only complaint I have is the lack of gametypes. I would've loved to do anything besides Team Slayer. But still, it's a very nice map.

I wanted to get this map out the door somewhat quickly, thus slayer only. I intend to get koth and ball games up and running at some point. Ill update when I do.

And yeah, its smaller than it looks. Not shipment small, but smaller than anything reach shipped with. My running inspiration for archbishop was to keep it simple and eliminate all unnecessary real estate; I hate maps that are equivalent to run on sentences.

you spent nearly a month forging this, and it shows.
this map has a great feel to it, and fantastic aesthetic touches.
considering its your first map, its even more impressive.

when you were creating it initially, i wasnt so big on the flow of the map
flow is concentrated toward the tip of the triangle and the beach part was a little bit inactive during a couple games.
but we didnt get a chance to have enough proper games, so my judgement is not final in that regard

in any case, Archbishop plays great, and it damn well should with the amount of dedication you put it into it.
congrats on your first map, looking forward to the next.

I improved the beach section with my robot arm.
