Download apiffiny here! and the gametype! i have been informed that this has too much advanced jumping in it so i warn you that it is more of a jump map than a puzzle map. hey everyone this is my first map posted on forge hub so i decided to give puzzle map making a shot. Apifiny is designed to be done on your own without any outside help, it is to be played with the gametype "Puzzlball". i used a checkpoint system so you dont have to start again if you screw up. i don't want to give to much away so i will only be giving small hints above the picture of each puzzle. you might receive a bit of help from a ghost if you keep trying. jump into the light! "a power drain and a turret, what should i do with these?" this is the hub puzzle 2 oh **** how do i get all the way over there? "hey a teleporter"
unblock the tele puzzle 3 whoa! thats one hench jump. a bit of hidden magic may help here. puzzle 4 "how do i get up there?" im sorry i just had to put it in there. puzzle 5 "i cant jump that far, wtf?" this one is really hard but if you get it right you can be consistent. yaay you're done! and the links again. yeah i was told by a friend that i should change the last puzzle (the one i had before was easy) so i did and now its a lot harder. this is also only a first version so i am open to criticism and i will take in all feedback and try to improve on it
I personaly enjoy puzzle maps quite a bit so I'll DL yor map. At that point I will write a more detailed response. However as stated before your map looks simple but I do enjoy a simple puzzle. I think even the best puzzle solvers need a break from hurling their controllers at the walls sometime. But the one complaint I have is you revealled to many answers to your puzzle in the pictures. From the pics I already know how to beat 4 parts of the puzzle and am pretty sure about three more. Some of the comments were dead giveaways too "jump into the light" a bit unescisary don't you think.
That quote is stolen from buddhacrane from his map "The Rack on Tours" I suggest getting a new hint. Besides stealing quotes, I'd rate this 2/5, mainly b/c it isn't much of a puzzle map, its more of a jump map. Not bad for a first post though, try and come up with more original puzzles. Puzzle maps are usually better if you don't need to have a more then basic understanding of halo to finish, So ghost jumps are not usually welcomed our any other advanced jumping (pretty much anything besides grenade and crouch jumping.) advanced jumping makes it more of an obstacle course then a puzzle
sorry in that case i will change the description in the main post because the ghost is easier than the last puzzle
Hmm I dont understand what to jump to in the room with the power drain and the turret. (Yes I know how to jump off of a power drain) EDIT: Nvm I figured out what to do by accident. lol
yeah, i guess that'll happen to most people eventually lol and no i didn't misspell it on purpose i'm just bad at spelling
