Hey guys It's FM and the BB again, I was just wondering if anyone was familiar with Quantum Physics, and Quantum Theory? I have some ideas regarding the subject. So if anyone is interested please reply, and then I will tell you the secrets of the Universe.
I understand the basics, but nothing more. I've often wondered about the theories and such though. Please, enlighten me.
Of what I know and came up on my own, the basic idea, but is not limited to; Quantum Physics is cause and effect. What you need to know... -1st dimension of space - a line going on for infinity, length. -2nd dimension of space - an infinite amount of 1st dimensions creating a new direction, width. -3rd dimension of space - an infinite amount of 2nd dimensions creating, height. -4th dimension of space - an infinite amount of 3rd dimensions creating, a new coordinate plane. -1st dimension of time - just as it is now, a straight line (is also refereed to as the 4th, but for this conversation lets call it the 1st dimension of time or 1st dot) -2nd dimension of time - it is a time that can see all possibilities and what happened before but is restricted to the straight time line, but knows how to change it to a new direction. -3rd dimension of time - it is possible to see all things and can move from one time line to another but has to go back in time such as rewinding or going normally. dimension of space - DOS dimension of time - DOT we will stop there. Topic one Dimensional collision The basic idea is that two different types of dimensions collide, such as time and space. That gives us the term "Space-Time" when these collide they will create something similar to a chemical reaction, but instead of a new substance they make a Universe such as ours. When these collide we get what is known as a Big-Bang or the beginning of a Universe. Many people believe that this was how our Universe began. It doesn't end there though. Have you ever heard of the idea that our Universe is constantly expanding? Well it is because the two dimensions are moving through each other. But what happens when they start getting closer to the end of both of the dimensions? Well this is called the "Great Compression" After you would hit the half way point of both of the dimensions everything starts getting closer together, Until everything goes back to where it started, and then and only then will the Universe cease to exist. There is one more thing that goes along with this main idea. What if another dimension of space or time collided within the Universe? One of two things would happen. 1st- We would start experiencing everything in that dimension and could see a new space and/or live in a new time. 2nd - We would not even be able to Understand that it is there because we are 3rd DOS and 1st DOT Though time and space could be colliding constantly within our Universe and we could not view it, one thing we could view would be a new type of dimension of neither space or time. Then there would be a 2nd "Big Bang" That is the basics behind Dimensional Collision. Hope you could follow, and if you did please respond!
Um.. What? You lost me at "1st dimension of space - ...". From what I understand, quantum physics is the branch of physics that deals with discrete units of energy; you know, particle/wave duality, the uncertainty principle, and all of that jazz. To be completely honest, I thought this would be an idea like slipspace, or shaw-fujikawa engines, considering what forum we're on. Also, Spoiler [size=+2]No Edge![/size]
Okay all space is, is an infinite amount of dots or points and when they are infinite^1 there is the first dimension. When its infinite^2 its the second . When it's infinite^3 you get the third, and so on. That is physics it deals with a theoretical idea of something that isn't there, but is at the same time.
Quantum Mechanics = behavior of subatomic particles. So that was misleading. You're talking about some offset string/M theory or something, I don't even know. I don't follow the different interpretations, and couldn't gather if this was your understanding of one of the theories or a new one you were proposing. Basically I get what you're saying, I just don't see what your point is.
The point for me is that these theories explain in ways that the our universe was created and if they are true than they show us a new field in which we can learn more in. String/M theory is cool and all but I don't even believe half of what it states. I think that there are dimensions in constant flux and they are much bigger than what string theory teaches us.
Ah. I don't particularly see the theories as really the case. I mainly look into them because I just love them as ideas, the concept that there are ways of viewing the world we cannot even process is amazing to me.
Well I have figured ways of looking at things just by correlating them is irrelevant objects I have figured out how black holes are made from that and even this idea I made. It all comes to you with thought and patience.
ummmm, so as I understand black holes are just masses that have such a great amount of mass/energy contained in a small enough space that it's gravitational field is immense enough to not let light escape at it's velocity of approximately 3*10^8 m/s. The point where light can't escape is called the event horizon. Crazy **** happens with black holes man. Time-space ****.
Btw...nothing you stated has to do with quantum physics other than to say...it has to do with physics...and quantum physics is physics.
I'm going to make an assumption that he is someone who watched a couple of history channel documentaries and thinks he's an expert, but that remains to be seen. To continue my discussion on black holes, I recently saw a presentation by Brian Greene of the Columbia Physics Department, and he had a great way of explaining the physics of black holes through a children's book. Not that I need a children's book to explain things to me, but it was a summit on teaching science to the general population and increasing interest. it was really quite interesting! Look up Icarus at the Edge of Time by Brian Green for his book.
I can tell you I didn't watch a history channel, though I know what you're talking about. Anyways Quantum Physics and Theory isn't just the study of small forms of energy. It also deals with the ideas that bigger things that make up a much bigger thing, and that they do too for infinity. I'm not new to the field, but I am not an expert. I just state what I know or what I think may be correct.
I skimmed most of it because it's pretty easy to see when someone's explanation has more potential to confuse people than improve their understanding. I'm curious where you're getting this information because I know a lot about quantum mechanics, relativity and other related stuff yet I've never heard of this stuff about halfway points in dimensions and "dimensional collisions" At least the stuff on dimensions is pretty much useless since that's just the basic definition of each dimension and I am sure anyone planning to understand quantum mechanics, if you ever talk about actual quantum mechanics, would already have a significantly greater understanding of dimensions. It remains to be seen how valid the other stuff is.
I think the branch of physics he is looking for is theoretical physics...but as you said pyro, confusing.
Yeah, you're not talking about quantum mechanics at all, you're talking about talking about theoretical physics, and a very strange version of it at that. I'm not sure where you learned your definitions but they need re-adjustment. Here is a good list of the physics classes and sub-disciplines Normally I wouldn't care so much as everyone is entitled to their opinions on how stuff works and why it works but this attitude of "I know this" despite not getting a basic understanding of what Quantum Physics means doesn't inspire much confidence in what you're saying.
