Lol, what else is there? What type of games do you like? RTS: Age of Empires 2. It's cheap and really good. Warcraft 3: I just got into it and it's good. I dunno what you like so I can't really recommend much else...

Ahhh Starcraft. Thats oldschool too. Although you don't want to play WoW, maybe you should check out Diablo 2. 40 Bucks for the game and expansion together and playing online is still free and vastly popular. It's made by Blizzard, creators of WoW. I also think that you should get yourself acquainted because heaven knows a friend will ask you to play Diablo 3 when it's released.
I used to be addicted to Maple Story. Completely free and is a simple mmorpg. Pretty fun, especially when u got a lot of friends. Its a 2d side scroller that adds more fun to it.
