Ants Nest Hey Everyone just a quik preview of my new map that I'm making on Rats Nest, I started this map yesterday when I was messing around with the new No clip glitch when I thought up (what I think) is a really fun map. This map is located in the center area of Rats Nest where the bridge is and is really small, it will only suit up to about 2-6 players, 8 max. This map is symetrical, with 2 bases and a center room. I made this map with Team Slayer and Multi Flag in mind, but I think FFA will also work. I Called this map "Ants Nest" because I noticed that both of the two human bases that we see in Halo 3 are both named after and animals nest, Rats Nest and Crow Nest, so I called it ants nest to stay with that theme and because my map is small like an ant. anyway here are the weapon's and equipment lists. Weapons List 6 SMG's 30-20 sec res, 1 clip 4 Spiker's 30-20sec res, 1-2 clips 6 BR's 30 sec res, 1 clip 2 AR's 30s sec res, 2 clips 2 Maulers 60 sec res, 0 clips 1 Brute Shot 120 sec res, 1 clip 1 Sniper rifle 150 sec res, 1 clip 2 Magnum's 20 sec res, 1 clip Machine Gun Turret 90 sec res Equipment List 6 Frag Grenade's 10 sec res 4 Spike Grenade's 10 sec res 2 Trip Mines 90 sec res I didn't put any covenant weapons on this map because I didn't feel like it suited the theme and the feel of the map, and for the equipment I thought that because the map is so small and the rooms are so narrow, that equipment would be to powerful, still I wanted to have some kind of equipment so I settled with the Trip mine, I feel like it suits the theme and it can be really useful but not dominating. Anyway here is what you've been waiting for...the pics So that is my map, It is basically finished all I need is to test it and wallah. So if anyone would like to help me test it just send me a msg over XBL or Forge Hub, my GT is xPromekx
The Brute Shot and Mauler are Covenant weapons. Personally, I think it's a little boring. The main room in Rats Nest has a lot of vertical space and I think it would do a lot for this map if there was a lot more vertical-ness to it.
