Made by: Sir Toppum Hat1 and American10 For about a year or more American and I have been working on this Ancient Map Pack. All together it consists of Acropolis, Temple of Atlas, and Polerian Valley. Each map took a considering amount of time and was carefully planed out. All together these maps tell a story, and that story is: One day in 1364 there was a rumor about a small group going to over take the city. The king heard of this and set up a few soldiers on duty at the Parthenon just in case. It turned nightfall. The Ottoman military soldiers sneaked into the Greek city unnoticed. They took camp at the temple preparing for attack. But something happens, the guards see them through a window and everyone draws out there swords and attacks. The Ottomans run to overtake the ancient stone circle, then there military bas then the cellars of the Parthenon. They found some tunnels leading to a house and overtook the house. They fire on the city, the smell of blood in the air; this was not a good day for Acropolis. Then all that’s left is the Parthenon, ran up the hill to the Parthenon slaying everyone who stood in there way and took the main point in the city. All is lost, everything ruined, everyone dead, for the city this was a bad day but for the Islams....this is remarkable history. The Ottoman Turks used newly invented gunpowder in cannons to destroy the walls around Constantinople. Once it fell, the Turks rushed into the city, conquering much of it. What was at first thought of as the cities last stand was a battle fought at a nearby building named the "Acropolis." The Turks won this battle, but some Byzantine soldiers managed to escape the Acropolis during the battle and took refuge in a small temple located in the mountains north of Acropolis. For 50 years they hid in this temple, which they named the Temple of Atlas. They established a small village there, and trained soldiers to fight against the Ottomans, in an attack they had planned. Soon, an Ottoman brigade discovered the Temple of Atlas and dug tunnels leading into it. On April 30, 1365 the Ottoman military launched an attack on the Temple of Atlas through the tunnels they had dug. They came through the tunnels at night and slaughtered the guards who were holding Turkish prisoners of war near where their tunnels came in. They then found their way to the underground creek, and mine; the Ottoman military stayed there and waited until the next night. Slowly they creeped though the city killing anyone in their way, until a Byzantine brigade spotted one of the Ottomans. At that time all hell broke lose. The Byzantine military attacked with full force, but the damage was already too bad, the Byzantine couldn’t do anything, there were just too many of them. Blood poured onto the streets, parentless children cried; they feared this was the end of the Byzantine Empire. The Ottoman soldiers took everyone else, who were still alive, as prisoners and began to head back, but then an Ottoman brigade who had been guarding the other side of the Temple, sees foot prints leading from the battle seen along with a trail of blood. Someone as escaped, someone has survived. The Byzantine traveled many miles towards their village. They struggled through deserts, crossed river rapids, and hiked large mountain ranges. In the distance, they could see the Polarian Valley's collection of flowing hills and calm streams. They were relieved that after their long journey, home was just several miles away. Little did they know, much blood would soon cover the land. The Ottoman brigade had camped along the riverbed. They were ready to fight. Their eyes blazed with fury as they readied their weapons for combat. It was almost nightfall. The sun was halfway over the horizon, leaving a red-orange shadow on the land. As, the remaining Byzantines appeared above the hill, their appetite for genocide welled up inside the squad of Ottomans. They charged over the hill, completely catching the Byzantines off-guard. They were outnumbered 5 to 1. Blood ran through the rivers as the Ottoman Turks tore through the surviving Byzantines. After the battle was done, no prisoners had been taken. The Ottomans were still unsatisfied. Enthralled with adrenaline and the thirst for blood, they attacked the Byzantines' nearby village, driving them to complete extinction. None were left alive... Now for the Maps. Below are the 3 ancient maps. (Click on the picture to download) This is the first map in the Ancient Map Pack. The map takes up all of foundry and it’s roughly based on historical landmarks. Acropolis is the first map of the. The attackers spawn at the Temple and the defenders spawn at the Parthenon. There are two bases north and south and there are 2 small symmetrical houses on each side. In the back two rooms there are ruins you can hide in. There are rooms underneath the two hills the temple and Parthenon are sitting on. The one under the temple has a dungeon and tunnels leading to the houses. The one under the Parthenon is a basement with tunnels leading to houses. There are also two turret stations for each side. Click for more information. Download Map (Click on the picture to download) This is the 2nd map in the Ancient Map Pack. The map is a small map that includes four well constructed floors for gameplay and many tunnels. On the top there is the ground that includes a house, temple, sniper bunker, cove, waterfall, mine shaft, and more. Then there is a sort of "aqueduct" feel to the first layer of tunnels because of the water from the waterfall. These tunnels are stand up tunnels and they have 5 entrances to the ground above, and they have 2 entrances to the next layer underground. When you jump down from the 1st tunnel layer you have two options, you can go to the left and go on the bottom floor where the dungeon is at or you can take a right and go through a layer of crouching tunnels. If you pick the right you can take another right and go up the mine shaft to the top of the level or you can take a left and go to some stand up tunnels. In the stand up tunnels there is a series of holes that you can go down to the bottom layer of crouching tunnels, but you must watch out for traps. Scattered around the map are some irresistible traps that take you to the dungeon and makes you kill yourself or stay in there and wait for someone to killyou. Original Post --- Featured Post Download Map (Click on the picture to download) This is the 3rd and last map in the Ancient Map Pack. This is a big open map with many structures. In the middle theirs a well created hill with a big cave inside it and two tunnels leading out of it. Water is dripping down off of it leading a small river then splitting off to the east and west. You can go on top of the hill several ways and theirs a sniper up there, if you grab the sniper you activate a lift to the far north making so you can easily get on top of the hill. Then to the south east theirs the pantheon (defenders base) and it has a small hole on the top of the base so you can sneak into their base. Inside there are assorted objects and a geomerged box and on that box is the flag return point. Then to the south west there's a Colosseum. The Colosseum has one arch door going to it and a big hole in the roof. On top of the roof are destroyable pillars. Same as the other base there's a geomerged box and that's where the flag return point is. In the Middle East and west there are two small symmetrical huts. They have a one room inside them with a pillar in the middle. Also below the house is a small crouching basement. From the river there's a small crouching tunnel that leads to the houses. At the end of the river theirs a cool c shape formation and above it is a bridge connecting both of the east and west sides. Behind that to the very north is the switch lift and some pillars for protection. To the east and west of that there are two small bases, that is where the flags spawn. There are a couple more secrets but I will let you find those. Click for more information.
