I have a problem with open btb maps in halo 5. Theyre too sweaty but I dont blame the maps. Halo 5 just has crappy core gameplay. Generally, open maps require constant team work which have always been my least favourite maps and that applies to slayer, etc too. Snowbound in halo 3 I always tried to avoid but didnt mind playing now and again as open maps in halo 3 were bearable. I prefer maps like halo 3's construct that has long sight lines if youre at the right elevation and/or on the same path with the enemy player. This is the reason why I had a blast playing scavenger in halo 5. Scavenger showed me what it was like to have fun in halo again. Im not saying people shouldnt make open maps, practice how ever you like. 343 just need to fix their crappy gameplay. Also Im not saying maps like construct and scavenger didnt reqiure teamwork, Im saying these maps made teamwork a challenge and not so easy as it is in open maps especially in halo 5 were its just outright abused. Sorry if this post offends the creators.
No offense taken, you simply stated your preference. I’m incredible happy with and proud of the hard work weeeeemann and I put into this map. This is a diverse community.
I can admire the work put into it. Its definitly one of the best looking forge maps. For me its not the best to play but certainly not the worst from what ive played in btb but I know certain players can prefer teamwork oriented maps and will rate this map highly.
