Well, I stopped being lazy today and put all the soft kills and stuff in, started on spawn zones. You can download a trial of it here, if you'd like. No more pictures though, guys, sorry. :/
Well this is going really well. I liked it a lot more when I played it yesterday than I had before. Keep working on the spawns and they'll turn out really well. Gameplay is very good and aesthetics are great also.
Mmmkay. So. Update. I've made the map officially unbreakable as far as I'm concerned. However since I finally went through and found the objects I need to re-create the ceiling that rusty wanted on the map, I may have to redo the kill zones after adding in the roof. I also need to actually go in and spend time on the spawns, I've been lazy with spawns on this map, so I feel guilty having not spent time on that. Weapon-wise I have done very little since the initial weapon placement other than swapping the Grenade Launcher with the Sniper Rifle, along with moving DMRs and other little weapons being moved a few forge co-ordinates away from their original spawn, so no need to worry there. I'm very happy with the budget on this map as of right now. I have over 4,000 right now, and I could easily make it up above 5,000 by removing weapons and other aesthetic pieces I have placed. So that's always good. Anyways, I'll get pictures of it up as soon as I get the ceiling, spawns and whatnot finished. I might start the ceiling today, though I doubt I'll finish the spawns or anything before next weekend. So watch for another update then!
I'm glad that this map is improving even more. It;s nice having games on here, and i really enjoy them. I wonder where you got some of the roofing idea from...inspired by me, i knowz um idk if it was just from forge, but when at the corner by the covy crates looking to the middle, it lags some. little fyi. Can't wait to play this again. what a sexy banner btw
Hey erupt if u want ill totally do ur spawns for u Cuz as you know, my spawning system on gallium is well, flawless, lol jk But if the fact that nobody has had a bad spawn yet is an attestment to my system, then im doin pretty good so far But watch it, if i do too much i might have to take credit for the whole map Lol thats u^^

Since I got a mention on the lack of atmosphere in the map, I added some more roofing, but got rid of some of the railings on the ceiling, so I think it may have helped FR a bit... Idk. Hopefully. Soon, Crypto, soon. I have took it out of my file share for the time being as I am currently setting up all the gametypes and spawn systems and stuff. I'm about half done. Well it seems like spawns are finally working quite well on here. 5 player FFA is pushing it due to the map layout, but still, much fun was had here today. The map video should be really interesting too.
Update Ok, so. I have removed the railings on the ceilings for better splitscreen framerate. This has raised me up to a total of $4250 in budget. The map supports everything except Invasion, Race and Infection. Other than that, no major changes. Aesthetics we freshened, rock smoothened (lol) and things of that nature. I'm waiting on a video and need to get screenshots. This shall be released sooooon! [Download]
In the previous version, I did. But only in moments of huge happenings in the center if the hill was present there. Now I have updated it and reduced the amount of objects and swapped framerate-y objects out for ones easier on the system. I haven't played hill since then, but I can almost guarantee it's little nonexistent. Split screen hasn't been tested in awhile. But it used to be small and very much bearable, but since framerate overall has gotten better since then, I assume it's fairly good for splitscreen as well. So, overall, no. No framerate issues.
Lol, hills cause lag all on their own. That is why I stopped making maps for it, even though it is by far my favorite gametype.
testing this.... i thought it was great for free for all and my noscope during testing was amazing and the map is very clean....... if you still have the lift torch things.... i think they can go they confused me at first thinking that i could use them but i couldn't.... and i felt it was well planned and the fighting was in every part of the map not just in the middle gratz on coming this far to completing it.
