Okay, we all know how awesome forge world already is, and while i love the forerunner architecture and the terrain that brings me back to my Halo CE days, some don't. I've heard somewhere that there will be other forge maps in DLC (which would be likely) so, what could they bring? I'm guessing maybe a human city. I'd love to be able to place different types of roads and civillian vehicles, to give it a very realistic feel. This would be great aesthetically, but would also be brilliant for machinima. Also, are there any features not currently in Forge world that we could have in a new map? I Doubt it, but I'm curious. Also, what other themes could we have? Snow? Desert?(if were not too sick of sandbox by this point? Share your thoughts!
I wan't a city forgeworld with all flat ground and completely everying thing is made out of forge. I wan't a map to remake headlong on because that was the best halo map ever. I also wan't to be able to build skyscrapers and buildings to make an urban feel. Snow would be nice but I am sick of desert. A swamp/Marshland would be cool too.
Yeh Mashland would be good! Actually, i'll add that to the poll And skyscrapers would be very interseting (maybe a skydiving gametype )
i would love a human city that has easily buildable buildings and bridges that look like streets, maybe even streetlights. idk that just sounds really cool after wondering around in New Mombasa on ODST

A human city would be a very cool addition imo. I would also like to see a forest/jungle themed map... That could be cool. Although the jungle map would be very hard to make.
I want to see a forge world with similar area's to Halo 3's first level. Also an actual in space level with a view of things like the sun and planet Reach, with objects coming in a variety of themes, so that you can build differently themed battleships, and have space battles. Would be awesome for a one-bomb assault gametype.
I don't really think I want another Forge World as DLC. With Halo 3 DLC we got new maps with different environments and gameplay. Another Forge World would be strange see as Halo Forge World has lots of space to build in, lots of varied terrain and lots of things to build with. Another Forge World would just be a very similar map but with a different aesthetic. I'd be paying to build maps which look slightly different to the maps I built without having to pay extra... At least Foundry and Sandbox each added to Forge in some way. But if I had to choose one, I'd go for a giant version of Snowbound.
snow and desert. one with sandtrap and the smaller sandbox pieces, one with avalanche and snowbound pieces.
All in for an urban forge map DLC, I'd totally remake headlong. Lolz, no one has voted for dessert, which I totally agree with. I'm sooooo sick of sand box, no more blocks of rocks plox!
Mmm... a good covenant forge sandbox? Count me in. I'm actually hopeful that they'll do this in future DLC's. It'd definitely get picked up by the customs communities, and there're always things to improve on.
I would love a covenant style forge world map in Reach although its not going to happen. The covenant architecture is unparalleled in aesthetics and versatility in the Halo world. A set of covenant style pieces to go along with this would be amazing; although its sadly not happening.
A giant urban setting, please. I've seen way too much of the Covenant, and don't even get me started about grasslands/deserts. A giant Avalanche wouldn't be so bad, either, but since it's Forerunner, too, it would be way too similar to the first Forge World. I'm afraid if they ever did use a giant Avalanche, it wouldn't add much, or even anything, to Forge. I liked Halo 2's maps. Give me more city.
I think the city would be the best. It would make some of the best legit infection maps ever. Another one that would be pretty kickass is a forgeworld that is completely cave themed or possibly a sort of "super foundry".
Or maybe just an updated Foundry with the ability to go outside and to other larger foundries. OR THE OCEAN!
