Hello members of Forgehub. Today I bring you my best made infection map "Alpha Maze V2.2" This maze consists of all objects on foundry that are immovable, interlocked together making a quite big maze, it has been improved from V1, as I added more objects and different ones also. There has also been many new places to hide in added. There are many hallways. One of the first ones, you will see when you get out of the pallet room. There are three ways to go. One leads to near where the zombie spawns, the other to a pallet hidden room, and the other to a hard jump, which is then linked to a few more paths, soon making you head down a far away area. The zombie, has two choices of where to go after he gets out and goes around the corner. He should go right, or he can go straight, incase anyone somehow got passed it in time, before getting owned. The bridge hallway is unique, because it is the only one in this map. The walls are all used, and fence walls were also used alot, especially to give you a scarier feeling in your head, like OH NO I SEE THAT ZOMBIE!!! The walls can give the zombie the advantage, as he can hit it with his hammer and you will just die if it is close enough. This maze is inescapable, and if you go after one path, you may not be able to jump back up, such as when you go passed the hard jump, and there is two paths. If you go under, you can't jump back up, its impossible and has been tested alot. I hope this new description hells everyone. Story: In the year of 2640 the Spartan king, Kooblah ruled that all the captured must be put in a testing facility to test thier wits and wills. Kooblah put one of his finest warriors in to eliminate all of the captured. Will you survive and kill his warrior? Or will you just perish and fall to the ground after 10 seconds. You find out. This maze has one or two difficult jumps also made into it, it helps if you get inside the double box where it is and run at it then jump. This map also needs to be played with the gametype Alpha Infection, which I will also give you a download link for. There are also no weapons on this map, powerups, or grenades. There is no way out either. Now I think it is time for some screenshots. This is where the humans spawn. This is after you get out of there (break pallets) This is a secret room where you have to break a pallet to get to. This is the hard jump. This is after the hard jump. This is a way under the jump. This is after you go under. This is the bridge hallway. Zombie spawn A tight fit for this small hallway. Thankyou, i worked on this map alot, the interlocking wasn't very hard, and I had no simple design for this map.
Where do the zombies spawn? I can't get a good description of your map from these pics and the written description. Perhaps you could put a few more pics and maybe describe the layout of the map a little more because it sounds like a good map.
Well, to get the feel of the map, you have to play on it first, the zombie spawns in a closed box with two pallets to break before he can get out. Most of the maze you have to crouch for. It has an amazing gameplay and is sure to be fun and give you some laughs.
hmm i like the concept and i will check it out soon but i got the RRoD :'( definitely check it out when i get my xbox back
It looks superbly interlocked, and it looks very complex. However, I can't really see much from the pictures, so I can't add much about the map design. It's been done before but I guess it's really hard to do something different and still have it be fun. Also though, refrain from one word comments like thankyou (just add a comment about the map or something else stupid because moderators consider those infractions).
oh, ok well, i appreciate your warning and I couldn't really show alot about the map, because it is interlocked alot and it is very hard to get good screenshots, but the actual gameplay speaks for itself and shows that the map is good. The map took me about 6 hours to make also.
Well, it's played with infection own3dy00 and you only have one life per round, so it ends whenever the zombie is killed, or when all the players have died. Each round is six minutes long and there is ten rounds, for maximum enjoyment.
This map looks like it was very well thought out, and a very fun map. This map seems to have a great use of interlocking and thought put into it. 4.5/5 from looking at the screenshots, and I will download soon.
In order to get more downloads its a good idea to give enough information before hand to make them want to download your map. An overview is ideal as well as some pictures of your best features. -from your post i don't think that I will download it. To me it seems like just another maze except this time you crawl everywhere. This doesn't seem fun and you can't really run away once a zombie pops up on you. I am also worried about the fact that there are no weapons on the map. This seems like it will allow players to camp areas and ruin the game. If you have weapons and limited ammo, humans have to move around. Pretty good job overall though with nice interlocking and a complex setup 8/10
This map has an excellent use of interlocking, and just the maze in the name wants to make me download it, because I really love mazes, but I have not seen anything like this before, only normal mazes made by my friends. I will download. 4.7/5
Ha, nice to see you finally posted this map. This map has amazing interlocking and it just blows me away, this was the greatest map and the most fun I ever had playing halo when we tested it. 5/5
I just got back from playing this map, and everyone said they loved it. I came back with a map review, and I have to say it is astounding to play on and it has alot of potential in it. 5/5 no problem!
