Allure

    Okay, after a loooooooooooooong break from forging, I was determined to get over my forgeblock. So after hours of designing and scratching my anus off trying to come up with a good design, I decided to forge with the flow, and I went to work. So after endless hours of mad forging in five sittings, I present to you the creation of my anus that is Allure.

    Allure features an interesting gameplay, allowing the player to spawn with holograms, and when the CPU is picked up, can be unlimitedly used. The map itself is filled with beautiful blue aesthetics, 6 teleporters and some technical flaws and z fighting, subject to be fixed. But don't let that disappoint you, the map itself still favors gameplay, and there is no split screen lag.

    LOL at all the Anuses. Its nice to see that you got over your forgeblock and are trying to create something original with these asthetics. this is by far your best map and it was a pleasure making a video for you.

    Best thing you have forged so far, without a doubt. Looks like that break did you good.

    I was disappointed at the fact you didn't use Eminem's verse though...

    Thanks for the compliment, but I wasn't doing the video, I just told halo to make the video using that song.

    The editing in the video was pretty annoying at times.

    As for the map, it does seem to be pretty solid. Minus the teleporter-lift and the covy crate jump.

    -saw the lift fail multiple times, plus the whole teleporter is redundant since if you opened that wall, it would take you to the desired location.

    -the jump wasnt a huge problem, it just seemed you had to take your time, even just for an extra second to make sure you made it.

    I agree with nibs, but I'm sure you already know that **** needs fixing. Also, where the lift is, the front of those bunkers boxes with the glass is driving me crazy and it looks terrible, imo.
    Also, I feel like there should be a solid route where that covey crate is. I could easily see players failing at that jump while trying to escape an opponent.

    Overall, it looks pretty cool.

    @Nibbs- I'm trying to get the guy who teleports to be facing the room when he teleports, to prevent camping by the sides.

    @Eight- Well, I was trying something new, and I tried it with the other side of the 1 by 2's
    it looks pretty bland next to the grey walls.

    So after playing a 1v1 on the map with you there were a few things that could be improved. First off the area where the lift-teleporter shoots you at is a real problem. First off the lift shown at 0:24 in the video could be improved. It shot you so low that and so slow that you were left completely vulnerable to grenades. I recommend making it shoot you a little faster and higher so that are not left as vulnerable. That brings me to the sniper, I myself recommend making it spawn faster but lowering the spare clip to zero just to restraint it back a bit.

    Also as a side note the flow was very heavily one sided. I never saw anything there that could really help me break up you set up or establish mine. Perhaps placing the sniper in that area could be a good idea or a teleporter of some sort. Outside of these things the map played great and its great to see you back forging.

    I will get that lift fixed soon, and aside for that you mean the CPU side of the map? Or the Sniper/Gl side of the map?
