Oh, yes. I know you. You're widely considered as the funny man from the group. I've been a Halo 3 Forges viewer since the early ages, namely before you guys signed up with Machinima. Glad to know we have at least 1 fan on here. Thanks for your support, we really appreciate it, we couldn't have got where we are today without people like you. Kenburn would love to be around, but he's currently in college so he doesn't have the time. Well, I'm currently 'defending the honour of Halo 3 Forges' in a thread made by MetaWaddleDee. We deserve the criticism, because we did mess up pretty bad. I just.. don't understand all the hostility and threats that I've received. I mean, it's just a video game. I've received botnet threats that'll shut down my internet 'permanently', I've received emails with keyloggers, it's just ridiculous.
Welcome to Forgehub, and allow me to explain why some people may act with hostility towards you and your Machinima group. First off, it's great that you guys highlight Forgers hard work and dedication on their "art" that is their maps, but when they don't, and/or someone else receives credit, they get no recognition, no publicity. Think of it like a YouTube using a band's music, but gave no credit to the artist(s)', they have good intentions, but it doesn't help the artist any, if someone liked what they heard, or in Forge's case, if someone liked the map shown, the view may look them up to see their other work, but without a name, that is impossible. I would also like to say you guys were on a good streak of credit, but people notice screw ups. It's unfortunate that people overreact to a mistake, since we're all human (hopefully >_>). However, that is no excuse to how some people are reacting, so I apologize, that's not how the whole community here deals with these sort of 'problems', don't let a handful of bad examples spoil your experience here. Welcome.
