The map began as Zombie received some fuel for building from a friend. As the map took off Zombies style took hold and molded the idea into the definition of a strong skybox map. A multi-roomed, fully connected surface was forged, aesthetically red and brown to continue the uniformity. Great usage of small height variation promotes the feeling of different combat scenarios, while never putting players on too uneven a field. A standard weapon layout of Sniper, Shotty, Rocket and OS keeps with competitive play in mind, but suits this map much more then most. With his knowledge of what creates good competitive 1v1 maps, Zombievillan was able to expand this to a slightly larger scale, and created the very respectable Alizarin. Great map. A little confusing to new people due to the single color scheme but overall a very fun and creative map. I did notice some issues with spawning during team games such as flag but it might have been random chance. Great work zombie. The windows are fantastic.
You are my hero. Seriously, I thought Cyrus was amazing. The aesthetics, the gameplay, and just the enjoyability. I'm currently building my own map that is sort of based off your style of design.
im sorry, but judging from the pics and the video (haven't played it yet), it seems preety average. The forging looks clean, i like the rooms and i am a big fan of "closed" maps, but im not able to find anything that is special on this map. Its "just" one of the better maps out there, nothing groundbreaking. (+ Sandbox maps without lights usually look boring, your aesthetics carry the map a littlebit, but not enought)
I remeber seeing what I believe was a preview a long time ago. It looked fine back then, but it certainly looks breath-taking now. I love the middle column thats round. The whole map is red, so it's somewhat confusing, but I love how you pulled it off. All the windows provide excellent cover and aesthetics. I'm glad you made this and I'll enjoy it for a while. Hope I could sometime forge with you. Great map.

THis map has one of the best flows in a skybubble map there is. Keep Going zombievillain. One more till ARCHITECT PLEASE- Give credit where credit is due. I believe that Vorpal Saint designed the layout. (it said so in the original post.)
There are lights on the map. He just took them off for the overview pic without the roof. The other pictures and the video all have red light to them. I really love this map Zombie... One more for architect?
i personally dont think this should have been featured. it may definitely be one of the best maps out there at this time but i dont feel it was one that was oh so feature worthy in comparison with the maps that have already been featured. dont judge me.
Downloaded this map when it was first released. I had a feeling that it would get a feature eventually. Congrats Zombie.
This maps interlocking is amazing, and I personally think, after looking at it in Forge, think that the weapons and stuff could be tweaked a little. And the design is not my style. But Nevertheless, this map is spectacular, like all the rest of Zombievillains content. I'd rate a good 8.5/10.
Honestly, I don't see what the big deal about this map is. It's pretty good and it is definitialy one of the better maps on the forums but I don't think it really deserves this. It just seems a bit bland, but maybe thats just me. Also, has anyone noticed that there have been barely any mid-level maps featured?
Played this map during its first few days of release and I love the design. The feel of room-to-room gameplay is unique for me, but I just feel that the gameplay isn't top notch but still pretty good. Congrats on yet another feature. On a side note, I kind of do agree with Phreakie on this one regarding this map being featured.
Wow I honestly hate how you need to have connections to moderators to get your map featured because all the maps I see featured here, are maps made by moderators or people who hang out with the moderators alot.

The past few maps are from the 1v1 tournament and therefore should be made by the staff including premiums. Now, if you really hate this, make friends with some mods - create a GREAT map - and we'll see if it gets featured or not. One more thing, features are not biased but rather focused on the overall quality of the map.
damn zombie you shell out these maps like no tomorrow lol another great map my friend fully deserved the feature. and dont hate because he unlike some other premiums choose to make more maps and use there talent even after they get the rank. he deserved the feature its a great map and he is really putting alot of work into all his maps he has been making.
Everyone with half a brain knows that Zombievillain is my friend. And dont spit bullshit about me not making maps just because I have premium. Even if I havent released a map in a long time, doesnt mean I dont use my "talent". And your typical rebuttal to this is probably going to be, "No one ever said you had talent." But you know what, you can shove that second load of oncoming bullshit back up your peanut ass. The fact is that I havent realeased a map because I dont feel they are adequate enough to my own standards. So Paulie, get off your own ****. And one more thing, I know that Zombievillain can Forge the crap out of Sandbox. Have you not seen Sanction? So again, support your ****ing post with facts rather than opinions before you try to "set me straight."

This map has SO much detail! It's pretty crazy if you really just look at the random aesthetics all around, you guys thought of everything. Overall: 9/10 It doesn't get much better than this!
I agree with phreakie, don't get me wrong its a great map and one of the smoothest maps I ever played. However, I don't believe the layout is feature worthy. Sure the aesthetics are great but its not that creative in terms of design imo and can be a bit bland. I've also been told that its not the best for gametypes such as oddball and flag but thats just something I've heard. This isn't because zombie is already a premium or friends with the staff here, the rest of his maps have been feature worthy no doubt. I just don't think thats the case with this map, I do really like sanction though. Congrats zombie, hope you keep forging great maps.
