Well, the game came out about a month ago I believe, but I just got it yesterday. So far I am enjoying it, minus the framerate drops my comp experiences time to time (not blaming the game for that, its my laptop) It has so far made me feel very nostalgic, almost as if I am playing a oldschool playstation game like Jak and Daxter mixed with God of War and LSD. If you haven't tried the game I highly recommend it, though I haven't finished the game I still think it was worth buying. Though, if you don't like having to jump around collecting teeth and collectibles, you may not enjoy it as much as I am.
I bought this game for my girlfriend so she can have something to do when I'm at work. Sometimes, when she's playing and can't beat a part, she gives the controller to me. I end up passing it first try and she gets so mad saying that it's her game and she should be better at it. I just laugh and say I'm naturally good at video games. Good times good times. Oh and it came out June 14th I believe.
When I saw the trailer and then was told that the ending is revealed that the entire game is actually Alice going through an LSD trip and is killing thousands of normal people, not monsters made me want to freak out. That is UNBELIEVABLY ****ed up on a whole new scale and easily has the potential to ruin many childhoods. Plan: show my baby cousin Alice in Wonderland when he is old enough to comprehend it and then show him this game a month later.
Ok, so not exactly a month ago... not even a month, damn my sense of time is getting warped. Oh well, still a good game though. @loscocco: Not sure if that's how it ends or not, I did read one thing about the end on wikipedia so I'm not sure if it's the real deal or not. Anyways I'll put what I read in a spoiler. Spoiler What I read was that Alice's psychiatrist or whatever he is had molested Alice's sister and went into their house that night her family burned to death, and killed her sister, and torched the place thinking all of them would die. But when Alice survived he started to try to make her forget, and when he couldn't fully do that he decided to make it look like she was insane in case she ever did remember what happened and accused him of murder. That happens and then she pushes him in front of a train and he dies. BUT that's from wikipedia, so again, not so sure how accurate that is, could be complete BS for all I know. But seeing as your info came from someone who, I can only assume actually beat the game, so I'm inclined to believe that more than this.
