    This map was inspired by many classic maps such as Lockout, Midship, and Foundation with new touches I made myself. This is the third map i've ever made and I'm proud on how it turned out.

    Well, of what I see it looks nothing like Midship or Lockout. Then I saw it looked like foundation until the last picture which scares me. That part looks so messy after everything else looks perfect. I think you gave up or something.

    Also maybe you should test the map out before posting it. The map looks great and all but you don't know how it plays out.

    Actually I did test it out. I played a couple of 1v1's, FFAs and Team Slayers. They all work well. I didn't give up. I said they were inspired by those maps not exactly like them. The pic may look messy but it's not.. the boxes were purposely set that way. They create a tag affect. Someone chases you, you can change course and regenerate your shields.

    I am not "wining" as you might say. I was stating that it the last picture looks messy. Now when you deleted it you should have posted that on the page to prevent from other users not knowing what is going on. As you can see SteelLeprechaun has no clue what has just happened about me saying that the last pic looks messy.

    Everyone has the right to express their feelings about the maps. That is why you put them on here. If you do not want constructive critisism then I don't know why you are here. No map is perfect and there is always something that can be changed.

    When I saw those first pictures in your thread I almost soiled myself, I was convinced that this map was gonna be Epic. When you wrote that you had been inspired by Lockout, Midship and Foundation you struck on all the right cords. But then I loaded up the map... and alas I was instantly disappointed. Don't get me wrong, there's some parts that you've done really good but then there's the majority of the map. And it's not quite as good.

    Aesthetic / Functionality
    The platform on which the sniper spawns is really good, I mean reeaally good. The only thing that really bothers me about it is the slopes that lead you all the way up there, I feel that you could have created a better way of reaching the top. And I also like the middle structure, it certainly brings maps like Foundation and Warlock to mind. But as for the rest of the map I was pretty dissatisfied. It feels like you gave up on your creation halfway through and settled for a mediocre setup. Don't be in a rush just to get your map published, things like this should take time.
    I also think that you should have used grav lifts instead of man cannons to get up on the slopes, because they give the player more control of what is happening while flying through the air. Besides, one of the man cannons just flings you straight up in the air, often making it impossible to land on the fence box next to it.

    Spawning
    I couldn't find a single startingpoint. Why haven't you placed any? This makes we wonder if you have tested the map out at all. How's the game system supposed to know where to spawn teams at the beginning of a game? It's up for debate wheather you need more than one startingpoint per team, but one is an absolute minimum.

    Unfortunately I failed to find good respawnpoints either. When you place starting- and respawnpoints you should always walk up to each and everyone of them and look in the direction that they are facing. This is done in order to see what a newly spawned player gets to see upon spawning. And when a player spawns they immediately want to know where they are and where they could be heading. In other words, nobody want to spawn facing a wall / dumpster etc.

    Weapons / Equipment
    You've actually done a decent job with placing the weapons. There's only two powerweapons (Shotty and sniper) which makes for a struggle to hold on to them. But why did you clutter the middle part of the map with so many weapons / grenades? You should try to space them out a bit.

    I feel that this map could have been really good if you just had continued on the path you were on when you created the sniper platform. I hope that you take this as contructive criticism.

    No honestly it does look decent, but after reading the review I think you should update it and take a few things into consideration before you repost it.

    I see where you were going with this map. You had a good idea but didnt execute it very well. The sniper tower is by far the best part of the map. It was very well constructed. To me, the map was too cluttered. You're going to have to change some stuff around.

    It seems like foundry is too small for your map to fit. It was as if you compressed the map to fit foundry. I don't know, maybe that's just me.

    I could not find any Starting Points on the map, you're going to have to fix that. The weapon placement was pretty good. I liked how there was only one entrance/exit for the spartan laser. I see how you tried to replicate foundation in the center of the map.

    Overall, this map has potential. Clean some stuff up and this can turn out to be a very good map. Right now it needs some work. Hope this helps you.
