Sorry, not enough grav lifts. All 1st story Boxes contain Plasma Shields, which makes them repel the soccer ball easily. Use your teamwork to have a consistent barrage of brute shots/ rockets firing on the soccer ball to score a goal. When a goal is scored, a teleporter will be opened up, and will allow you instantly score the territory. When you capture the territory, the flag of the winning team with be shown on top of the arena. A second soccer ball is introduced after one minute. Dont forget to use your grenades wisely, and at the right times. Pictures: Soccer Ball spawns and the game has begun Score the Ball When you are about to score, and the other team can't see the ball. They now have an "explosive goalie" On defense, go to the middle of your box and throw a grenade straight up into the Plasma door. Grenade Bounce 1 Grenade Bounce 2-- into Goal Explosive Goalie The ball emerging from your goal If the ball would have scored, it would go back through the man cannons... awwwww I was whating for a v2. I loved the idea of this. THe interlocking is great and the idea is fantastic. Me and my friends love playing this. I also love the decorative interlocking you put on the walls. 5/5 great job!
Great job, the interlocking is fantastic especially those diamond boxes, wonderful. Map could seem fun, mabye get a little old at some times. I like also how you simplified the rules and gameplay too us. the only thing i don't understand is about the grenade bouncing thingy ma jig. Anyway looks like a fun and well rounded mini game map 4/5
you throw a grenade into the plasma shield above your box. It then bounces off the shield into another one, into your goal, where it explodes and propels the ball out.
Again, this map is really awesome, with some small, but very effective changes. I always hated not being able to do anything while waying for them to score and just end it. This improvement is very great. Nothing else seems to have changed, though. Great job!
exactly. Its a limited time goalie, because you only have two grenades, and it will work everytime if you get the grenade to bounce right in the middle. With more people, you get more shots at getting the ball out, or you can just tell someone to be full time goalie and tell them when to throw a grenade or not, then switch out goalies.
Ok i was able to try it out. Very creative i must say. I only had two problems. One sides wire spool was not sitting very well over the teleporter and i was able to score with out making the ball in. And i also noticed one sides top bridge was lower than the other one making it difficulty to bank the grenade. I made a few changes to it for my own purposes and it works perfect now. You might want to check it out and do a quick update before everyone DL's.
wow, nice job cleaning this map up from v1. i love how you solved the defence problem with the shield doors, its truly on of those genius ideas that actually works perfectly. i like the asthetics too, they're a really nice touch to an otherwise visually bland map. im really glad you made a v2 because v1 had was a good concept, it was just missing a few key things that you added. definitely a keeper: 8.7/10
hey that actuallly looks pretty fun! i like how you made that explosive goalie to. the only downside to that is by the time the grenade gets there and explodes the ball will probaly have gone through so you would have to time it really luckily or you need to be able to tell time either which. other than that the aesthetics are pretty cool to especially those diamonds on the wall
it looks as though you fixed some minor problems and made the map better. I loved v1 and im going to download v2 because it is an awsome. I like this map so much and is worth a 5/5!
I'm incredibly, incredibly impressed with this minigame. I had so much fun playing it and I don't really know why lol. Trust me, if you knew me thats saying a lot, I loath minigames with a passion. Anyway, so my thoughts: Map is well forged, nothing to note on that. Game is very inventive and creative, great use of a soccer ball Your imagination transfers well, I can actually envision this to be air hockey. Plays great for 1v1 up to 4v4. Pretty quick, fun and simple, but with some advanced tactics. No problems with the ball going out of play, very creative. Now I do have two suggestions: First, very simple. Though I think you intended the 3 rounds to feel like a hockey game with three periods, it's really really short. I recommend possibly 5, or 7. We played five, I felt it was fine, whisper said it was short still. Second, when the ball gets near your goal, not even all the way in, it's really hard to see it and get it out. I see you have the cool grenade tactic, which is nice yes, but hard to do quickly and isn't 100%. Also, I worry that this could backfire, and the throw grenade might move the wire spool and open up the teleporter, breaking your game. So possibly a way the shoot down throw your floor? Maybe a couple small holes? Definitely don't ruin anything, because this isn't a huge deal, but it could have positive or negative consequences for the team if they aren't careful. Anyway, on behalf of the testers guild, I'm reccomending this for staff play. Congrats, your the first. Edit: I was notified it's possible to knock the teleporter open with grenades by slipping them through a crack near the spool? Or something like that. Well that shouldn't be too hard to fix, just interlock the bridges.
This is pretty much Feature-worthy, actually. Just fix some problems ^--, and you'll have a good chance of it happening
Yeah, we had a great game on it. The one time we managed to get the ball out of the arena, it came right back in and we were all like 'WTF???' and actually switched into Forge just to figure it out
haha glad you guys like it, im stuck up in Far Cry's map editor, got a sick mountain glider thingy going on. But,i will hop on halo tomorrow and fix this one up for everyone, v3 on the way.
It has been a week, yet you have not released v3. I enjoyed playing this game a while back, but as others have said, it did need fixing, but not a lot of fixing. Just a few changes and this game will be perfect. I would like to see this game featured. P.S. Don't forget your broomstick.
This is a great mini-game map i love your concept. like insahe said this might make a feature. you'd have a better chance if you do a version three though. if there is anything to fix /
