    Supported Gametypes:
    All Modes work fine.
    I would mainly suggest playing objective modes like: CTF, Territories & Assault.
    Although Slayer and the other modes work fine too.

    Map Description
    Agateophobia means a Fear of Insanity, which goes well with my other maps.

    The map itself is symmetrical, a mirror image from one base to the other. Each base is the same and equal powered creating a sort of harmony on the battlefield.

    For Agateo (My nickname for the map) I used the main space of foundry, blocking off the back bases with a wall. The wall is not a straight line; slanted at some areas with small alcoves of cover, made with vertical barriers. In the center of the wall is a vertical fence box, which doubles as a death box, for those who decide that they wish to leave the playing area. On top of the wall are three small shield doors, located near the center. These are useful for bouncing grenades off of.

    Each base; along with the entire map in general is mainly simplistic in design. Each base has a good selection of weapons, along with a single mongoose mainly used in objective games.

    In the center of the map on the side of the map with the man made wall, is what I would call the personnel area. Smaller spaces and more cover create different firefights from the rest of the map. Near the death box, lies one of two power weapons (depending on the mode) either a flamethrower or a gravity hammer will be waiting for you.

    On the opposite side of the map; near the default foundry wall, is what I like to call the shrine. This area had a long line of sight, stretching from base to base with cover on either side. In a open box set against the wall, lies a spartan laser. On top of that area a Trip Mine spawns and is a good vantage point. With a quick jump you will be where the mauler spawns, again this only spawns in certain modes. Below here are two plasma pistols and BR.

    In the center of the map a bubble shield or a regenerator will spawn, depending again on the mode you are playing.
    All BR's (5) and Carbines (2) on the map spawn at 90 seconds, with only 1 spare clip. Each Sniper (2) spawns at 120 seconds, with no spare clip. This is mainly due to how open Agateophobia can be in certain areas.

    the cover (from the pictures) seems to be very equal and not cluttering the maps. nice job. Very clean

    It looks way way way too open, especially if you put in a 7 rifles and 2 snipers. Even with those respawn settings, it's always a definite that someone's going to have these weapons at one time, and when that happens, it's going to be very hard to find good cover.

    Thanks, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what to place where the "Shrine" is now. The death box is something I use in my maps, whether they be in halo or other games.

    I understand your concerns.
    But the pictures make it seem much more open than it actually is. There aren't really any long sight lines aside from what I would call the mongoose pathway along the Foundry Wall. The sniper perch (located on top of each base) has no cover, you are completely in the open & that is really the only good sniping point.
    Almost every single spawn point is behind some sort of cover, or at least near it. Even if someone has these weapons, it is still easy to counter them & so far in all of my games on Agateophobia I have barely encountered spawn camping.
