Alright, here it is folks; my first Reach custom map. AERIAL It's set up for slayer, CTF and Crazy King. Yes, it is very jetpack-centric, but hey, that's what custom maps are for: Silly Fun! And so far, it's proved to be just that. I haven't logged a lot of games in it, but the one's we've played in Customs have been pretty well received. So please, download, play, and lemme know how it goes! FFA Slayer is pure mayhem, in the best sense of the word. Crazy King is fairly similar, except there's the whole "objective" thing about holding the hill (I use the term objective quite loosely). Team Slayer is slightly more organized mayhem, but with bigger explosions. CTF (one-flag or multi) is also on tap, and gettin' the drop on someone with the flag has NEVER been more satisfying!! Infinite-Jetpackin' tip: Even though your jetpack never runs out of juice, it will only lift you so high, and at some point you will cease to climb. Not to fret, you just need to pulse the throttle a bit; let off for a second once you reach the peak of your climb, then reengage your thrusters to resume ascension. It takes a little practice, but you'll be soarin' in no time! Team game tips: Reds spawn at the top of the map, Blues start in the lower alcove. Each team has a pair of turrets near their base for added defense, I only wish there was a setting to let you fly around with 'em! Click the pic below to make big, and see the locations of some special stuff, only available on team-games though: Now you may be thinking, "that sniper looks a lot closer to Blue's base than Red's", but actually it's almost perfectly equidistant between the two closest opposing spawns. So each team has an equal chance of getting their hands on some long-range death. The Plasma Launcher is closer to the Red base, but the Blue's have the Rockets, so it hopefully balances out.
