Did you like the little rhyme in the title? Anyway, my Halo 3 Special Edition Xbox got the RRoD a day ago and I'm wondering about sale prices for it. It works but is unreliable and I'm looking at buying a Slim to replace it. It is about three years old, in case you were wondering. I know I have a couple of options, like repairing it but I'm thinking about selling. Here is a picture: So what I could do is just sell the plates which is really all that is special but I could also buy another xbox, switch the plates around and Voila! We have a working condition Special Edition xbox. Then in both cases I sell the LE xbox and use that money to buy a Xbox Slim. So what I am wondering is: a) Price range for the Plates alone b) Price range for the Special Edition Xbox with controller (maybe a couple other things) c) Price range for Slims and advice on whether I should actually get a Slim or something else.
