Hey guys, i posted earlier this week looking for a good shooter, but i think i'm going to change genres. I am now trying to decide between Assassin's Creed Revelations and Skyrim. If you would like to help me out, you should know that I am playing on a high-end PC. (My xbox got RROD) Assassin's Creed I'm interested in mostly for the multiplayer. The main storyline is... honestly not especially appealing to me. I will probably play it but never finish it like I have done with the original and AC: Brotherhood. The multiplayer holds interest because i love the multiplayer experience in most games over campaign mode. (Halo 3 got me into that) Skyrim Seems pretty awesome, i have many other friends who are playing it, but of course there is no online mode. Lots of time to be spending by myself. I have never played an Elder Scrolls game before, but i dont think i would have any trouble jumping into the game. tl;dr: Assassin's creed has multiplayer, i would probably play that if i got it. Skyrim doesn't have online mode, which is worrying, but the hundreds of hours of gameplay make up for it. -- Also, because of the AC: Revelations release date being pushed back, i can still preorder on Steam and get the Ottoman Doctor as playable in multiplayer. Thoughts?
Skyrim, hundreds of hours of gameplay, then since it is an elder scrolls game it will also have expansions and tons of mods for the pc version.
I could never get into the MP in AC: Brotherhood. It's supposed to be better in Revelations, but I would (and did) pick Skyrim over AC: Revelations without a doubt.
I picked ACR over Skyrim.. I already got dark souls for my long lasting RPG. I just beat the story and ive always been a fan of the MP. Its got a stiff learning curve but you feel like such a badass beating up on other templars.
